The clouds caught his attnetion. The mutt dog could easily pick out a few shapes out of them. A rabbit. A saber. Hell, even something that looked like something form the human camp. What did they call it? An arrowhead? The conversation he had just had and finished rang through his mind. Maybe he really did have a friend out of this dog? Not someone he woud have first guessed as a friend. But then again, opposites attract.
The closest ear flickered towards Bandit's voice. "Hm? Head tilted towards the male slightly but his gaze remained on the endless blue yonder. "Hell, I don't know. To make with what the best it gives me I guess. Never really thought about it. You?" Corprit rolled onto his back as he finished speaking, head going back to look at his fellow canine upside down.

Bandit's thoughts un-willingly turned towards the past that had been thrust behind him, sure it was nothing compared to what others had gone through. It was nothing compared to what the golden mutt mere feet away had gone through, but it still hurt to think about. So stop thinking of it dolt! The rude part of his mind spoke up, and the thoughts were pushed aside to be delt with tomorrow. Why deal with what had happened? Deal with the future, deal what could be coming just around the corner. Content with these thoughts, a lazy grin spread over his face. No reason there shouldn't be a grin on his face - after all, he'd just met a friend and gotten what he had needed to off of his chest. Today was a day to be celebrated, hopefully the rest of the pack could handle him as well as Corprit had.
Limbs collapsed themselves, quite tired of having to look down at the other canine to meet him eye to eye. Though his attention remained on the morning sky, and the fresh breeze that it brought to the area. "To look past the horrors of life and find the beauty long forgotten." Realizing how lame that sounded he gave a small 'heh' but otherwise added nothing. No need to explain himself unless asked for just such an explanation.

Head nodded in understanding to his reply. Everyone had their own lives. It never mattered to others what path one took unless they wished to join in and follow. Corprit's eyes flickered up to the now bluish colored skies. The sun had risen quiet quickly now and it made things seem a little lighter.
"I see." Not much but he couldn't think of much else to say to something like that.

As both canines fell silent once more, Bandit took time to observe his companion. Not simply physical features but more - his posture, the look in his eye. Something that an intelligent canine would have done from the very start - just to see if other beast was friend or enemy. But Bandit had no need to do that, Alpha would not accept someone who was not of good blood. And for all his misgivings, Corprit indeed was of good blood. Tail wagged a bit at this observation, before realizing he was being rather rude by staring at not saying a word. Gaze returned to the sky were the blinding rays of sunlight lay, just waiting to pierce of the pupil of any poor canine foolish enough to look directly into it. " I'm afraid I've run out of things to say." He said after a long while of silence, adding a slight chuckle after it. { ; Fear the shortness}

What Bandit said was indeed true. There was nothing else to say. Everything that could be said had and more. Something that happened often when speaking of one subject that both almost saw the same angle on. He didn't mind the staring. He had plenty of it in his days. From the wolves he had to fight then run from to his parents before they were killed.
"Indeed. There is nothing else to say about the subject of war, life, and death." Eyes closed and head pressed to his chest slightly. Corprit yawned, eyes going back to the bring yellow and blue skies.

Muscles contracted bringing the beast back up to his full height. Laying down was good and all, but nothing could beat just plain ol' sitting. The previous conversation had sprung up a somber mood about the lands, and thoughts of the past had crept up on him. His past was not horrible. Hell - it was down right peachy keen and wonderful if it was compared to Corprit's past. But for some reason memory of it still stung, in a way that only a traumatic experience can. Skull shook itself gently, dislodging these thoughts and trying to replace them with more cheery ones. Like what the rest of this pack was doing at this early hour. Sleeping - no doubt. The thought brought a smirk to his face, though it quickly faded and was replaced with the somber look that really was all that fit the mood.
"Maybe it's a good thing that there's nothing left to be said. If that conversation could end so rapidly - maybe so could the coming war." Even though Bandit had been alive for four years, that juvenile hope and lack of experience made him seem far younger. For what good is a canine in a war who has never made a kill?

Birds chirping flew overhead. The sun had brought out the creatures from their homes. Soon the other pack members would be up and out and about. Maybe it was a good thing that there was nothing else to said like Bandit had voiced? Corprit knew nothing could be solved that easily byt it was always good to think of all the options possible. With a sigh he rolled over onto his stomach, hind legs out to one side and front paws out in front of him.
"You may never know. Someone might come across a solution that could help out with this." It was more in likely the most he had ever spoken to someone else. And it didn't bug him at all. The canine yawned, jaws stretched wide and eyes clsoing for a second. "But hope is something others rely on to hide behind reality."

Silent nod was given to the words that came from companions mouth, "I know that." He said not disrespectfully, "Sometimes I just wish it wasn't. Or that the answers to everything were easy and you didn't have to sit for hours trying to puzzle it all out - only to end up back were you started." He spoke from experience, upon endless hours of simply sitting and thinking getting no answers, and receiving a head ache instead. Bandit didn't really know why he searched for answers to questions that nobody asked, but he did and that was that. Corprit had to have done it at least once, judging from the responses that he had given. "I wonder when it will start. Ya know, I kind of wish it would just start already just so we could get it over with." He offered a chuckle at this, though it was not a humerus chuckle. It was a chuckle that said 'I know it's stupid, but think about it.'
Gaze drifted to the sky once more, and for a moment his vision was clouded with a blinding light. Wincing a bit at the sudden light, his gaze re-directed to the ground. And now green and purple dots flashed before his eyes, just begging to be captured.

"If they were easy to find then there would never be a victor to the wars and mindless battles. just think, if even the dumbest wolf could find answeres to his enemies plans then the fight would never end." The golden male stood, shaking his pelt before taking a sitting position like the other canine had, tail curling over his back and fluffing out slightly. He had asked himself many times before what the point of fighting was, and yet, he had not received an answer. No matter what there would be fights and there would always come out one victor in it all. you learned to get on with your life. He had years ago learned that in order to get clues to the answers you had to get on and live.
Ears perked at the small chuckle, head and gaze turning to Bandit in a confused manner. Corprit turned his head away from the other and let himself ay down again. Sitting didn't bring much to the mind for him at the moment. Corprit smirked and chuckled slightly, placing a paw over his eyes and letting the small chuckle turn into a small laugh. "It sounds so stupid yet makes sense."

Listening to the golden male, Bandit nodded. He was right, of course he was. Dog had simply gone on about hope, but there was not hope. And there was a reason for that. A breath of air escaped him heavily, perhaps in a sigh. "You're right." What was the reason for war? To throw off the power that held you down. The power that kept you small. The power that kept you in fear. Yes, that was the only logical explanation. "War comes from fear." Bandit said, having no clue that he was going to say anything at all. "But fear of what? Death? Pain? Sorrow?" The latter half of his statement was more said to himself then to companion. What was that fear that kept packs at each others throats? Perhaps it was fear of strength. Or maybe even a mixture of all fears thrown into a blender, which ends up so confusing the only way to solve it is to spread the blood of your enemies across the land.
Just as quickly as he was dragged into thought, he was thrown back out. Like a drunk who had overstayed his welcome in the finest bar of town. One the subject of war, he rather was like a drunk. Confused, staggering, speaking in slurs that made no sense. Not like Bandit had any idea what a beer was, or the strange sensation that came after having far to much of it. As he returned to the world, Corprit had said something else. "And that's the way to live life."
