My gerbil was attacked by her own family!! Ok so we bought two gerbilsabout 2 years ago and they mated had lots of babies they grew up we gave most of them away. At one time we had three exact triplets two dided and we are not sure why, now the last one was attacked by our momma gerbils, and they have been together like that for a year with no problems. Her neck is all bloody, we seperated them and I highly doubt she will make it throught the night Someone comfort me or give me advice

I'm sorry, but my feline Shadow died from feline leukemia in January, so your gerbil may not make it. I'm sorry, Halo. I hope the best to you and your gerbil.

Gerbils often fight - it's justa natural thing amongst rodents. They can only stand so much of one another, and being forced to live in the same area so close will often result in a fight eventually. It probably wont make it since Rodents aren't all that strong and don't have a big blood supply anyway. I'm sorry it happen though =\ Just remember next time if you get another one to seperate them, or give them more room.
