Alright, does this sound very fair to you?
I'm working at little caesars, right? It's a pizza place for those of you who may not know of it. It is never below 88 degrees in the store and we have to work at an extremely fast pace. Some people there work 6 hours shifts and more and they don't get breaks. I work 4 hours, and I don't get a break either. At all. Only people who get breaks are people who smoke. Ontop of no breaks, we get absolutely no discounted food. If we want something, we have to pay full price. If we are late, we're harshly repremanded, and if we can't make it in, EVEN if it's not our fault at all, we're threatened to be fired. If our register drawer is over $2, we get a write-up and too many of those will get you fired, even if you're new and don't know what the fuck you're doing. We get ONE t-shirt. If you've never worked fast food, let me tell you, you need more than one t-shirt, especially if you work all week. And at pizza places, it's worse.Every other place I've worked I've had two or three shirts. We can't drink any soda from their machines - we have to drink water or bring our own soda.
I absolutely hate this job, and sometimes I wonder how it's even legal for them to work kids under 18. I've worked two other fast food jobs before, both of which had benefits for all of their employees of any age.
Burger King gives you two or three shirts.They give you a 10% discount, they give you a 15 minute break or 30 minute if you're 15. You can drink their soda if you bring your own cup. Yes, you get written up if you're drawer is ver or under a certain amount, but they take into consideration how long you've been working and how busy that day was. If you're late, they're not too happy, but if it's not your fault theres nothing you can do. If you can't make it, they find someone else to work your shift instead of bitch about it.
Subway gives you three shirts. They give you a 50% discount. Breaks are 10-15 minutes long, and if it's not busy it can be up to 30 minutes. As long as you use your own cup, or the cup that was given to you when you were hired, they don't care what of theirs you drink. They don't really care if you're drawer iss over or under, as long as it's not missing or over 100 they're pretty fine. If you're late, they usually don't care. If you can't make it, they just want to know why and they'll find someone to work your shift.
I've really been considering going back to subway despite lower pay than here. Hell, I may even go to homelands and bag groceries. Little caesars sucks all ass.
A couple of days ago I burnt the shit out of my figner because some dumbass set a hot pan on the diswashing shelf instead of the floor and I grabbed it thinking it was cool.
I was ungrounded today, which is good, but for a while I still have to ask to call Casey. Still, I'll be able to go with him for the 4th. I guess that's cool.
I started my period today and I felt like shit. I had to leave work early and our new manager was a total fucking PRICK about it. I had to miss tuesday cause we were trading in the car I didn't like and of course I can't drive, so I wasn't able to make it in. So when I asked to leave today, I told him I was feeling sick and dizzy, which I was. And he was all "do you ALWAYS feel sick and dizzy? you already had to miss one day this week, it seems to me you're making a habit out of this." l;hdsg;lahsdgh motherfucking fucker. If I had another fucking job to back me up I would have told him to fuck off and kicked him in the nuts so he has a taste of what it's like for girls every month. The only reason he can act like that is because he's the manager. YET my managers boss, Rodney, who owns our store, saw me out in the lobby waiting for my mom, looking like shit, and he asked me if I was okay. I made the hand motion for "okay, eh so/so." and he was like "Ah... aren't feeling well?" and I said "No.. not really" and he was like "Well, do you need a ride home?" and I said "No, my moms coming to get me, thanks." See? The supersupervisor is nicer than my manager. Fucking messed up. NEVER work for little caesars guys. They're a bunch of shit. I'm still thinking about another job. Arby's maybe, since it's not too popular around here and it's a lot closer to home. Maybe some grocery place to bag and stock. I dunno, but I can't work at this place much longer. I would rather work Subway and burger king combined over LC.
And. Tonight I tried Tampons. I tried one a few years ago and couldn't due to being a virgin and it hurt like a bitch, but now I did again and it was much easier. Buuut, they lie when they say you can't feel them. When I stand it's not so bad, but when I sit it's rather uncomfortable. Sucks. I'm not fond of a string dangling from my business, either. Since I sit odd in my computer chair, the string gets tugged on. Bleh, plus it doesn't work the best. Theres still a little leakage, thus I still have to wear a liner. I guess, at least, I'll be able to wear my bathing suit.
Ummm.. what else can I bitch about? I might have to give the car back again -.- apparently the dealers are trying to screw us again and wont lower the APR.. or something. whatever it is, it's 11.9, which i's why my payments are so outrageous. Bleh. Stupid car dealers.
