[All recruitment posts are to be transfered here, asap. Vette is back and needs to know who is trying to get in and who has been recently accepted... Ranking members are encouraged to help out.]
Vette was concerned. Brow knitted, she paced up and down the narrow streambed. The Chicotahs and Whitebacks were almost certainly plotting something, her pack was wildly out of control, and her mate was no where to be found. New wolves were pouring into her lands daily and she had no concept of who they are or what their intentions may be.
She needed her brother and her other ranking packmates. She needed to take a headcount and weed out potential spies or stragglers. She needed to get her family back into shape and prepare them for the long months ahead.
War was coming, that much was certain, and it would be unavoidable. No asinine notions of Aryian nobility would keep them safe, and aristocratic bloodlines bleedout just as easily as rogue elements.
She howled. It was a call of frustration and worry. There was anger there too--Why hadn't anyone come looking for her? Why hadn't her pack rallyied around her upon her return? Where were the updates on the health and status of the pack?
Where in the name of the Spirits was her family?!
She threw her head back and howled again, calling--no, demanding, that her packmates report to her position IMMEDIATELY. Newcomers and hopefuls were ordered to show up as well. If not, they would be chased out with several sets of snapping jaws hot on their heels.
Vette could no longer play games with her pack. She had to become the Alphess, once and for all, and hold nothing back. If she did, their way of life would be wiped out. From this moment on, Vette stopped being the happy-go-lucky, kiss-and-make-up female she had been born as. She became what all alphas must become eventually: Hard and unrelenting. Perhaps in generations to come, the old ways would return and the future Aryians would relax and play again. But that wouldn't ever come to pass unless she made sure that there was a future to be had.
Now, all she could do was wait.

ooc- As you requested! *salutes* Kinda copy-pasted but ehn.
BIC- *Whenever one of Turin's lineage had ever been lost, it was a good bet to check their place of origin. It was engraved deep into his blood to go home in times of need. Whence his father was getting older, he had tryed to return to Bloodback, but died on the way home. Now that his pack had dissolved, Turin Petrove had nowhere to go. Now, he was heading home.
If only he'd known where home was.
He had only 1/16th (Or something. He is a wolf, he can't count that well.) of whiteback in him, and so he had no urge to go there. Warned of their violent nature, he steered clear of the lands. And what of Bloodback? Follow in his father footsteps perhaps? Of course not. He knew of his father's kind and held no love to them, however loving the fatherly wolf was. So put on this earth to do little more than teach and raise, the kind soul now found himself with nowhere to go and no one to lead him and no one to lead. It was nice to be an alpha... But he had Alkina beside him to support him. Two words repeated over and over in his head. Now what?
So he'd gone to wherever-this-place-was. This was the pack he'd heard were the most civil, where he'd fit most at home. Sure, he may look and sound and act different, but it would save him the trouble of trying to track down his family. So for the first time in a long while, a Petrove was going to immigrate out of the comfort of lonelyness until he died. Hopefully, this pack would be as welcoming as he was eager for a welcome.
A call threw out across the land, and no sooner had it hit the old man's ears than he cracked the ol' smile. It had been a while since he'd smiled like that, a wide, exuberant smile of deepest releif. Even though the female's howl was distressed, Turin's heart lept a little. He could go back to helping others. He could have a purpose again, and not dotter around like an old fool. Tossing back his own head, he released a melancholy, baritone call to float up into the sky. It was powerful, almost commanding, but gentle. He'd dropped the orderly notes as soon as he left home. But this could be home now.
He found a femme, pacing angrily through the briars. Dropping his head and tail, he rolled his shoulders foreward in a deep bow as he approached slowly. His back legs dragged slightly, a stiff air about them until he finally came to a stop. "Good day, Milady." he said with a wide grin, his ice-blue eyes twinkling merrily. "You are of Aryia, correct? I am searching a place among your ranks. Perhaps you could aide an old wolf in regaining his dignity." He laughed cautiously, his thick barrel chest shaking as his grizzled, shaggy fur danced around his neck. She smelled strongly of the lands, and he smelled many, many more scents on the solemn earth. They would not be alone for long.*

((Just confused, cause Rouch's post had been there for a while, and Whings had already been in it ;-; Ah well))
Grey wolf was relaxing by a tree, having found great enjoyment in this new land. He had been resting a lot recently, to heal his injured shoulder. Whings knew his services wouldn't be needed for a while - the stag they had caught would be a good meal for quite some time. This in mind, he was glad to have the opportunity to relax in a nice land. A land that he could now call home.
He'd yet to meet the alphas, and when a high-pitched and angry sounding howl came to his ears his head perked up. It definately sounded like a leader's voice, and a female's. Could this be Vette, who he'd heard so much about? Whings slowly and carefully lifted his body, avoiding unneeded contact to his shoulder. He listened carefully to the howls, pinpointing the location. Not too far of a walk, he thought. There would be no running for this wolf for a long time.
As he limped nearer and nearer to the alphess, butterflies flew about his stomach. What if she hated him? She sounded quite upset in the howl. What if, due to his injury, she kicked him out? Whings panicked inside his head - nothing would be worse than having to leave the pack he had already come to love.
Finally, the leading lady came into sight. Whings was shocked at the way she looked - beautiful, powerful. This wolf was definately a leader. He bowed his head low to himself as he limped toward her, and, a few feet away, he set himself down. Trying to get his dry throat to work, he stuttered on his words. "H-hello, lady Vette. I'm Whings. Rouch accepted me into this pack as h-head hunter." He dare not look such a powerful wolf in the eye. He was terrified - a trait which Rouch had made clear wasn't a good one. Whings had become ten times more comfortable around Lilah and Rouch, to the point where he no longer showed any more submission than necessary. But this was different. This was an alpha we're talking about. He knew that, eventually, (if he wasn't kicked out, he thought), he would become that way with the alphas too. But for now, Whings was fearful and in a state of panic at meeting such a wolf.

(I made the meeting thread before I realized Vette would probably have one of her own, I apologize for the confusion.)
Thoughts of worry danced through Rouch's head, but that really was nothing new at all. The Chicotah that he had accepted still worried him greatly, even with Lilah as an escort - with her hurt he could easily turn on her. Stop it! You have to find Cronic or Vette and inform them of all that's happened, just stop worrying about the damned Chicotah! Just as these thoughts crossed his mind, a howl that was one of the most familiar to him caught his ears. "Thank the Lord, Vette has returned." A sigh of relief escaped him, he would no longer have to worry about the were-abouts of the Alpha's or if they were safe or not. At once though, the urgency in her howl caught him and forced a raised eyebrow. Lady Alpha was usually incredibly layed back, and never known for incredible times of freak outs.
The slow and steady trot he had been taking, turned to a job as he hurried toward her position. She would need updates, and many other things that he had only short time to prepare in an organized way. Deciding to kill time, he listed all that needed to be said and all information that was critical for the Alphess to know. The Chicotah would be one of the most important, along with many of the other new ranking members he had appointed. Finally beloved sister came into view and he couldn't help but break out in a grin - despite the expression that was crossed over her face. Spotting Whings, he offered a nod and a smile. The jog he had taken to reach her was slowed to a walk, as he continued the few feet left. Finally, he settled his rump beside her and offered a smile.
"Welcome home," with those words done the smile faded and he tilted his skull to one side then the other, "would you like the reports now, or would you rather await for the others to come? Much has happened since your talk with Breakbone." And with that he remained silent, awaiting orders. Something had changed in her, and Rouch was sure it was nothing good. But war changes all, and he was sure there was not a thing that he could do about it.

She didn't like it.
The howl held authority, yes, but it also held anger and frustration, two things that completely made the Aryian/Whiteback mix shudder a bit in worry. What if the demanding call was to see if those like her had been accepted? Would the caller snap at their heels and send her and the others away? Why was there such discrimination against her and other hybrids like her? She did not ask to be born as a mixed pup, holding both the traits of Aryian and Whiteback, not only in appearance but in talents as well, if she ever learned to not be so skittish of others. She was worrying so much about the thoughts which passed by her mind that her mind became fuzzy and she slightly teetered to one side. Shaking her head of the greyness, Karinek pointed her body in the direction she heard the intimidating call. Howl or not, it was a higher ranked wolf, and she had to make an appearance or she really would be in trouble.
If she felt intimidated by the howl, she was even moreso by the appearance of the caller. She was a majestic wolf, body seemingly filled with strong wisdom and a high head to rule. The sight of Rouch beside her was slightly comforting, but it did little to help her right now. Brown, grey and white pelt moved closer, seemingly forcing to press onward to the alphess, her head held low and tail curled nearly to her stomach, barely brushing the hairs. She stopped just a few feet from the female, karinek's entire body posture showing fear and submission to the leadress. There was even a slight shaking in her muzzle.
"P... Pleasure to... meet y...you, Alphess..." She tried to say the words, but they only ended up stuck in her throat. "M...my name is... Karinek. Beta Rouch was kind... to allow me to join your... wondrous pack..." The words came out a bit better, but she was still filled with a sinking feeling of fear or rejection.

Khazz had been somewhat half asleep when his acute hearing had tuned into the call of urgency. Or atleast it sounded urgent. With a heave and push, he lifted his large frame above that of ground level, emitting a yawn, he then took time to stretch off his stiff limbs. 'Only decent sleep ive had in months!' he thought to himself as he plopped himself down to a seating position, only just remember why he had got up once seated.
It sounded like, whoever had made the howl, seemed agitated a bit. Seeing as he had just been introduced to the pack, he best go see what all the comotion was about. A call from one of the Alphas maybe? He better make an appearance then! Plus he had only known that of Rouch so far, so why not make a few new friends along the way?
Heading in the gereral direction of the howl, it was'nt long before he emerged around a group of wolves. Five infact, one being that of the Beta, so I inward sigh of relief was taken. He headed over to the group and gave a light smile "Apoligies on being late, i'm not much of a morning wolf!" he explained, chuckling lightly and nodding to each in greeting and mutaul respect. He noticed of the the femme Rouch was sat beside, and everyone seemed to have their attention afixed on her, she must be that of the Alpha. The one who made the howl.
"And am I to believe correctly that you are the Alphess of these fine lands?" he asked, dipping lower in much more of a repectful way "My name is Khazz, good old Rouch here was the one who accepted me into these fine lands, not without a fight though!" he added, giving Rouch a sly grin
