This morning, I woke up turned on my comp, fed my fish, checked the forums without posting, ate breakfast, then while helping my cousin put her bedding away, I felt a stinging pain in the back of my neck. I automatically threw my arm over my head and felt it with my hand and I just freaked out. There was a lump about two cenimeters in length and height sitting right between the top of my spine and the bottom of my collar bone sitting right on my spine perfectly.
I ran right up to my mom and told her to feel it. So now she started freaking out and told my dad to feel it. My aunt looked at it and nobody knew what it was. We started talking about going to the doctor's and making me an appointment tomorrow.
Thinking that was too long to wait, I went up on my comp and looked it up. I got several different answers of people having the same problem and didn't see a doctor. Here are some of the answers I got:
-Start of something Cancerous -A late effect of a previous injury -An effect from acne -A sist that is full of air and you can just pop it like a pimple (but mine is hard like a bone)
I'm really scared, especially since the Cancerous answer showed up. Do any of you guys know what's wrong with me?

Hmm... I would be a little freaked out too, but not that much. I'm guessing it's a sist. I have one on my cheek, not so big, but it's hard as a rock and I can't pop it. They can come up any time. It could also highly likely be an effect from a previous injury, such as a cat bite or scratch. Cats are really disease-ridden, and just a scratch can cause things like that. My moms hand is all sorts of fucked up from a cat bite. But I haven't heard of many cancer tumors in that area... that's a really weird place for it to be if it is one I mean, really weird. Could be an inflamation of your cervical vertebrae. Where you said it is sounds like your C7 or C6 one, and if that's the case I'd reccommend seeing a chiropractor, cause honoestly, they're a helluva lot better than doctors >.>

Just came back from the doctor's. I got all worked up over nothing at all. Turns out, since it isn't hurting me there isn't anything to worry about. It's actually pretty normal. It was just my C7 that suddenly got big I guess. The doctor that saw me had a similar one on his hand. As long as it doesn't hurt, or get bigger, I'll be fine. But if it does, I have to go back right away and get X-Rays.
And about the cat thing, I hate cats and don't touch them. The only cat I ever get near is my grandma's cat, Meow, and my cousin's lick-happy cat Daisy Mae. But I'm allergetic to them anyway.

I'm glad you're alright! <3
I love kitties. But yes, they are disease-ridden. xD And I don't like them near as much as wolves.
