So he had made his decision to side with Kein, and what happens? The whole pack decides to go into silent mode, just perfect. Well - it was time he got the show on the road and met his allies. That meant all those who sided with Kein, but how to do this? A howl? No, that would simply alert Delgnat that something was up. But how to call to those who were unaware you even existed? A smirk crossed his face at the thought, "Delgnat's probably already complained about me, one of 'em is bound to know I exists." The thought of driving The Fool insane drove a bit of laughter from his throat, it subsided quickly as he returned to his current predicament. Only two. Only two damned wolves on the side of the Alpha. Did this pack have no loyalty? For hells sake!
Why side with a Fool who would drive the pack to death, when you had wisdom right there? The idiocies of wolves these days drove him mad. Perhaps that was why he had made his life's work bringing down packs, or perhaps he was just insane. Either way, the brain of Benedict was not one that one should wish himself into. Clearing his throat in a manner that was louder then should be, he hoped it would draw at least one of the right crowd out. "Hell, maybe the Old one drew more onto his side." Not a respectful title, but who would expect such respect from Benedict? Shifting weight from one paw to the next he awaited the arrival of at least one of the wolves he was looking for. Two would be marvelous, three would be out of this world. As that meant Kein was getting off his ass and recruiting like a good Alpha.
A groan escaped his larynx as not a single wolf made his (or her) appearance, but he had only really been waiting for a few moments. Oh the pain of a short attention span!

A growl exploded from Tourniquet’s mouth as a fetus kicked her. The growl wasn’t loud enough to be heard as she knew she was far from any other wolves. Turning her head to the side in which was kicked, she bared her fangs as if the fetus would see and back down to her. Looking forward, she had finally returned to Chicotah. The pups will be born very soon and they were telling her in complete violence.
She guessed it would be a few more days of kicks with the unborn pups and growls from her throat at them in annoyance. But she still told herself that this was her idea, and the idea obviously had consequences. Damn. Now what? She scented a male not too far away. Moving…down. Lying down? Sitting? Will this be fun? She trotted forward to find out.
Looking through the trees she didn’t bother to hide herself. She walked straight up to him. Benedict. Almost just like the wolf Delgnat despised. Dammit, Delgnat! You were supposed to kill him! If he had let Tourniquet do the job, this fucker’d be dead and decomposed into the soil by now.
“Benedict, you’re supposed to be dead.”

A low growl put his ears erect, but otherwise his posture remained the same. Probably a bitch who had joined forces with the fool, as only those sided with the fool were angry enough to growl and give away their position. Jaws opened wide with a yawn, causing an odor to flow from his mouth that would make any wolf turn tail and run in disgust. Smirk pulled itself over his maw as he awaited his little guest to show herself, as he figure she would. But one could never be a mind reader - hell he had no clue who this wolf was. Other then that she was female, and had a horrible temper to be growling at herself. Invisible eyebrow raised itself high, never having the patience of waiting. C'mon, I don't have all day damn it. He thought to himself, still awaiting this growling fool to come out and play.
Patience in rewarded. Blackened female soon presented herself, and she was at once realized as the female of Delgnat's side. Not a female, the female. Snort rushed from his nostrils as she spoke to him, "You must have a horrible assassin workin' for ya broad, for here I am." A grin replaced the smirk, but it held no humor. It was the grin of a madman - though Benedict was sane as sane can be. "Or was The Fool supposed to bring me down? He must be getting lazy." A lazy eye wandered towards her stomach, it was huge! Pregnant, he decided. After all - Delgnat seemed the type to kill anyone who wasted that much food. On second thought, Delgnat was just the type to recruit a fat ass who did nothing but eat all day. Still - Tourniquet was no fat ass.
Posture remained relaxed through the whole encounter, not bitch was foolish enough to attack an un-injured wolf while pregnant with little bundles of fluff. Of course, she had sided with The Fool so who knew how good her judgment really was?

He snorted. Well, fuck you. Like you’ll ever experience anything that I did. Meaning pregnancy. Let’s just see how well you do with the kicks in your belly and the lump that throws off your beauty! She knew he wasn’t snorting at her annoyance of what she had done to herself, but all the same, it was a sweet thought to think of.
Her eyes narrowed even more into tiny slits; it looked as if her bright pink eyes were glowing with her bitter personality at him. She guessed he was a spy. He was way too laid back to be just a subordinate. And not just a subordinate, a subordinate of Kein’s Side, that fool. Baka. All she had to do was lie to him. Lies are always good. Especially with spies, as they look for everything to get any information go give back to their master. “Master! Master Kein! Tourniquet has left Delgnat’s side and is going on to ours! Isn’t that great? I overheard her speaking to herself! Reward me, sir! Reward me!” She pictured it and almost laughed, but her expression didn’t change at the hilarious thoughts of it.
“Assassin working for me? Oh, Benni, I’m flattered, really. Who would think a pregnant bitch like me would be higher than Delgnat?” She smirked, not caring if she got in a fight or not. Spring had only began, she could always mate again. Ha. “He said he would, I guess he hadn’t gotten to it, that fatass.”

Invisible brow raised itself at the female, but he said nothing. If only the gods had granted him the power of mind-reading! Body posture was such a pain to read, especially if the wolf you were trying to read knew you were trying to read them. Masks were easy to pull over faces - as he himself knew. And body posture was easily faked if no strong emotion was holding over one at any time, or they had learned to ignore those strong emotions and replace them with ones more fitting. Words were muttered that no canine - even with super hearing - could hear above a faint bumble of words that could easily be passed off as the wind. This mumbling was meant to see how well Tourniquet knew her foes, how much attention she payed. He was aware of her every movement, you let the enemy pull the wool over your eyes and you die a slow and painful death.
The words she spoke aswell as the tone and posture she held were filed away for later use. Whether the information he un-covered would go to Kein or not was yet to be decided, for at the moment he was still his own leader. He just happened to be against Delgnat, and Benedict had decided to ignore the old saying, "The enemies of my enemies are my enemies." As it was his turn to speak in this strange game of words, he remained silent for a few moments more. As if to state that he was no pawn, and would not be manipulated into every turn. "Why I believe you would." The smug smirk that had gotten under Delgnat's fur wrapped around his face like an anaconda, deadly with its powerful muscles but choosing only to strike once the prey is weak.
Benedict had not yet decided what sort of game she was playing, but that would certainly be shown by the end of this little game of words. He had no intention to start a physical fight - he was more of a mental wolf, though he was no pussy in the ways of battle. "Indeed he is a fat ass, but why would his most loyal subject" He tossed in a wink here, just to get on her nerves, "Be telling me this?"

She bared her fangs at his faint mumbling. She couldn’t hear it, but she knew it was something that he obviously didn’t want her to hear, or was just testing her. Either way, she wouldn’t allow herself to be thought to suffer from some retarded disease. She erected her head forward, craning it toward him in a straight-line motion. “If you have something to say, speak it aloud. Don’t waste my time. My very own bushels of fun are soon to come.” Her voice to him was just her own charming voice that was normal, amazingly. Usually she was snarling and growling, throwing words like a cobra would with his venom to the victim’s eyes.
“Indeed he is a fat ass, but why would his most loyal subject be telling me this? ” he said like some smartass. Tourniquet opened her eyes more ever so slightly and erected her ears as she pulled her head away back to her own frame. Okay, Tourniquet had two answers to this. One: “Questions will get you nowhere [insert pissy nickname here]. Two: “I have my own mind, no one will control me.”
Swiftly, she made a wise choice and stuck to her own personality—Answer numero uno.
“Questions will get you nowhere, Kitten.” She realized she was starting to relax her muscles. No, can’t do that. Benedict was a spy for Kein now, though he hadn’t mentioned it—yet; Tourniquet knew. In the pit of her gut she just knew. She tightened them again, standing her ground. Though she may lose her whelps if he decides to attack…she could care less. They were annoying anyway and a mistake.
She knew that. Well, now she did.

The smug smirk grew wider at her words, so she had been paying attention. All the better. For a mental debate was not very fun if the others heart was just not in it, but she had proven herself to be paying attention and so this little conversation could go on without interruption, "I'm sure you're loving what The Fool did to you." A shot in the dark really, but Delgnat was the only one who would bother knocking up the broad. After all - there was no point in any other male inserting his genes into her unless he had some sort of death wish. Tourniquet did not seem the type to accept pregnancy without good reason - unlike himself who would never get a broad pregnant if it killed him. His genes were his own, and they did not deserve to be in another at any point in time.
His muscles remained lax, though his defenses were well-checked. Not a single opening had been presented, and by the time she found one he'd be on his guard for an attack. But he would not start the attack, only provoke it. For what fun is getting angry and lashing out? The first to lash out is the loser of a mental debate - something he had learned in his youth quite a few times. "Kitten? Aw, I'm touched. That's the sweetest thing you've ever said to me. And questions, m'sweet, will get you everywhere." Light-hearted chuckle escaped his larynx as golden gaze remained on her own pink one. Female was not stupid, she had simply made a mistake in choosing the fool as a leader. The only chance in hell Delgnat had of defeating Kein was because Kein was old, not because he was weak.
In a mental battle, Kein would triumph over The Fool in a manner of minutes. But in a physical battle, well the old timer's muscles had begun to waste away. And still Benedict remained on his side, for reasons known only to him. Jaws opened in a yawn, as if this whole conversation bored him incredibly - while the opposite was true. For being on Delgnat's side, damsel did not attack. It had only taken a matter of moments before The Fool had landed on top of him in a huff of disgust saying that he did not know his place. The opposite was true, Benedict knew his place damn well - it was just everyone else who was confused.

.ooc. Sorry it's short and on Shadow's account. x.x The pups were supposed to be born yesterday but I was gone so I have to get them born today. I also have plans for Tourniquet. x3
.ic. Alright, now that he had spoken with such stupidity at her insults, she was beginning to get pissed off to a breaking point to hell. “I’m sure you loved what that fool did to you” “You wouldn’t know, fuck yourself and see what happens!” She coughed suddenly and lowered her head to the ground. Another kick from those damned fetuses. Growling again, but not looking at her lump this time, her eyes narrowed just passed Benedict.
Straightening herself up, she stared at him as if nothing had happened. After all, these kicks have been going on for a few days now. She knew they would be born in just a matter of time. When, though, she had no idea. But her guess was sometime today or tomorrow. At night she guessed.
“Business is to be tended to for me. Do as I told you, I’d love to hear the report.” She turned away, her slightly shorter tail than usual curling at the gesture. Not until after the last tip of her short tail did she stop. “We’ll finish this later. As after these kittens are born, I’m on no one’s side.” Not waiting another second, she trotted back through the trees and disappeared. To do what? You stoop. Give birth!
