Coming into this vicinity had been rather difficult; doing so ment passing Feline lands and that ment possible confrontations. However, avoiding society was always best, switching from night-travel to day-light pacing was also difficult. However, if it was needed to avoid the ones whom beheld sabre teeth than it would be done.
The smells here are of some similuarties. The same kind as me perhaps? Maybe.
The land like many others held various aromas. All unreconizeable to the multicolored giant. Plume swished to n' fro as curiosity continued to spike. Thoughts running rampant, muzzle to the terrian and sniffing commenced. Ylwa was near the borderline; into the begining of the new territory and of course a little far off from the end of it.
Canid commeced to find a resting spot for the time being.

Honestly, he was starting to question why so many were suddenly wandering into his lands. So many strangers, at that. Perhaps there had been a great disaster in lands moons and moons away that forced the other wolves to travel to Ruritia. That must've been it. The alpha could think of no other reason why so many wolves would leave where they were born.
Well, he smelled another stranger, and this one, again, was of his own blood. A stray bloodback? This was rare. However, those who left long ago during the war... he didn't doubt they wandered in the haven and on unclaimed lands and had their own children. Perhaps this one was the spawn of one of them. Well, the spawn of a spawn of a spawn, so on. Now that the rains had stopped, he was in a much better mood, though still weary of this stranger as he approached her near the marked line.
"Hail," He spoke out to her and stopped his trotting.
Now, he stood about six feet from her, holding his massive self high and proud. There would be no secret test for this one today. He wasn't in the mood.

.ooc. Jumpin' in.
.ic.
The black and red quiet Beta found herself constantly smelling trails left by her leader and best friend, Breakbone. He was on a roll these days getting ‘round the lands and greeting the newcomers with his odd temper. Shadow found herself literally limping after him, but she now had developed self-discipline; making herself do her duties quicker and more swiftly everyday now. There was no time to rest anymore like the old times. Yesterday is in the past and only a mere memory, nothing that will help her in the future or today. The future is a dream, what she hoped to happen tomorrow never came and she found herself in the same schedule all the time. She found it incredibly boring and decided to spice it up a bit. Just a little.
Usually only being seen by Breakbone himself, she knew a lot about his changing moods and constant thoughts like all Alphas these days. Shadow has been slacking off lately, letting him doing most of the work. She felt like this was keeping them drifting apart, though extremely slowly, she could still sense it and was back on her feet in a matter of seconds. The last thing she wanted was to leave Breakbone out of her life.
Shadow was patrolling the boarders, sticking to the edge of the trees blending in with the shadows to give trespassers the impression that they were alone if they were dumbasses and couldn’t use their noses. But she smelled an extremely fresh scent of Breakbone and a…bloodback? The newcommer’s scent didn’t smell familiar at all, perhaps a stray bloodback that left these lands then decided to come back years later? Shadow hadn’t come across such a situation, but incase it happens again, she decided to check it out to see what he would do, then Shadow could do the same when and if this conflict ever happens again when he’s not around.
She trotted out of the trees just yards away from where she was patrolling. She immediately started walking to Breakbone’s side and narrowed her bright violet eyes that told the stray bloodback “do as he says” as the leader spoke. She made it to his side and didn’t bother to sit as this wolf had an appearance that made her uneasy about letting her guard down. She could tell that her alpha wasn’t going to be patient at this time so she didn’t say anything or do much else. But her eyes were still locked on this stray.
