Grizzly-like damsel had gotten herself lost while searching out those she was take command from. So far all she'd met was the (incredibly dashing) Alpha Breakbone, and the female called Dira who had landed herself as lead scout only a few moons ago. She'd caught glimpses of others, but only few nods were given in greeting before they went about their business. And now, without any direction from anyone else, she'd gotten herself lost testing the boundaries of the pack. Surly she could find her way back - what a disgrace it would be to never return and have to have a search party sent out for her. If they'd even send a search party for you, came a cruel thought that made her stomach turn. "Of course they would." Came her voice to keep her company as she continued to pad slowly throughout the area. The scent of the boundaries of Bloodback had yet to waft over her, so Naco was sure she was still in the lands she had just recently started calling her own.
The giddiness of becoming a warrior had yet to wash off, even just thinking about it made her giggle with delight. It wasn't often one was given a rank other then Omega is such a short period of time! Rump placed itself down, as emerald gaze took in the land about her. Explorations had brought her far from were she was first accepted - and farther still from any of the formations that she had begun to recognize instantly. Oh well - she'd figure her way back sooner or later. Obviously she-wolf had wandered that far, if the pack boundaries had yet to drift across her nostrils. If she couldn't find her way back - border patrol would surly find her and guide her in the right direction. "Hmm, I should keep moving. Just to get to know all of these lands."
And so she continued onward - at a slow and steady pace taking everything in with wide eyes. "It's so damn big!" She muttered under her breath, ignoring the fact that she spoke to herself and anyone about would think her out of her mind. Thoughts turned to those of the pack as she continued to survey the lands - she had yet to meet Darktide or Tevi, the two she was to look to in times of battle. A real annoyance when trying to figure out battle plans and other things surly the two of them had planned. "We're all girls." She announced suddenly, girlish laughter bubbling up from her larynx. It struck her hilarious that of all the pack, only the females were actual warriors. Unless there were other male warriors she had yet to know - but she highly doubted it.
Rump placed itself down once more, honestly tired of being so amazed by the vast expansion of the Bloodback pack. There had to be somebody out this far, doing border patrol or even looking for lost new members. Didn't anybody want to help a damsel in distress?

“We’re all girls” was a sound of a female voice Shadow had never heard before. She stopped dead in her tracks and turned to face the sound. The owner of the voice was yet to be seen by her. Shadow cocked a blood red and black head sitting on her shoulders with only the neck to support it. She started walking forward, catching the maker’s scent in no time at all. It was a female that had just been accepted because Shadow didn’t recognize her and some of the other members’ scents were on her including Breakbone’s.
She started to walk by the female’s side. “What was it you were saying?” were her only words for now. She concentrated on her tone to make sure that she didn’t sound like she was saying something like, “how dare you say that!” or “such sickening words, fool!” Shadow’s was far from either of those kinds of words. It was more of a tone if she was talking to her own daughter.
A smile ceased to show on her muzzle. For some reason she felt this wasn’t the time to smile. Her bright purple eyes looked toward Avonanco with a slight questioning look in them. Her tail didn’t move as she positioned her paws farther out forward from her in a more comfortable position, now staring straight ahead. “I’ve lived here since I was a pup taken in by Breakbone. It’s big, isn’t it?” She looked back at the female to see what she would say.
.ooc. Sorry it's short. ><

{>>; Computer's being evil and not letting me log into Nacho}
At the sudden voice - a bewildered cry escaped Grizzly painted damsel. Emerald gaze glance about sharply before finding the owner of the voice, Stupid! You didn't even notice her. If she was Whiteback you'd be dead right now! Continuing to scold herself for letting the female sneak up on her, head dipped in respect to who she assumed Beta Female. Of course - Naco had been wrong before and it was incredibly possible to be wrong again. Caudal appendage flicked this way and that with nervous energy, really not liking that her first impression upon such a high ranking figure would be a lowly one. The words that came out of her mouth were thought out for once, not just blurted on some whim.
"Oh, just that all of the warriors - to my knowledge - are female. I don't know, I suppose it simply amused me. Most packs I have come in contact with assume that the female is the weaker gender, and do not allow them to become anything but pup-sitters and perhaps hunters. And that you've got incredibly large pack lands here! " Reviewing what had been said, damsel nodded. It was the best explanation she could offer for randomly saying things to herself. Other then she was cracked in the head and enjoyed hearing her voice - that certainly would not sit well with Lady Beta, who'd surly already gotten a horrible first impression of Naco as it stood.
Realizing she had spoke again, while mind had rambled on about what to say, a smile was offered. Though the disappearance of blackened belle's own smile wasn't really all that reassuring, "Indeed it is, I haven't seen such large lands for quite some time. The tone in her voice had drifted from frantic explanation to awe, as gaze drifted about the area. Finally it returned itself to meet Shadow's own gaze, and locked itself there.
{Mine wasn't much longer xD}

Shadow seemed to be staring out into space as the female spoke of her reasons for talking to herself. Shadow hardly seemed to blink as she listened intently. So, she had met some that thought that the female wolf was the weaker gender. Whoever told her such things were nothing but slimy jerks that don’t deserve to speak their mind—as if they had one at all. She finally blinked and opened her jaws to speak, but didn’t look at the wolf in which she was sitting beside.
“Gender doesn’t matter in battle. With hard work, any female surpass even the strongest males. The Bloodblack lands haven’t any care of what your gender is. If you deserve the rank such as warrior or any rank for that matter, you’ll be given it.” She stopped then smiled, almost started laughing, but she kept it in.
“How long? How long has it been since you’ve seen this big of lands? There are ones larger, you know.” She had said this in answer to Avonaco’s statement of how big these lands are, again. Then she remembered that they haven’t properly introduced themselves. She finally looked to the female with her usual stare like a mother. “Something reminds me, we must know each other’s names. I’m Beta Female, Shadow. I ask your calling as well.”

Skull tilted slightly to the left as Shadow spoke again, boy this female had a way of sounding like her mother. Still - she listened intently as all good pups must if they want to learn anything from their elders. What Lady Beta spoke was true, and Naco found it stupid to burst out as she often did without thinking in words that would make her seem stupid. Oh well - perhaps that was why she had simply become a warrior, though it was no position to sneeze at. If years of evolution allowed for a shrug, grizzly like damsel certainly would have given one at this very moment. "You're right, it's just nice to finally see a pack that can accept that. And I'm damn proud to be a part of it." Grin lit her face as the stern expression across others face vanished into a smile at her obvious awe at the mere size of the Bloodback lands.
At least she had done something right, or something amusing at the very least. Sheepish grin danced across her facade as weight shifted from one paw to the other in an obviously embarrassed motion, "Can't really say, quite a while though. Perhaps not even ever - I guess I can't say much for all my travels then can I?" A sort of shock rushed through her as the identity of mystery female was revealed - so she had been speaking to Beta Female all along! Eh - it could have been worse, thought not by a very large margin. Just gotta keep lookin' on the bright side! "A pleasure to meet you Beta Shadow," Skull dipped itself in greeting as the sheepish smile played off into a more all-around one, "I am Avonaco, though you may call me Naco if you wish. Warrior of the Bloodback."

Her ears suddenly perked and her eyes suddenly opened then relaxed. She smiled and turned to the Grizzly-like female, Avonaco. “I see you have met Breakbone, then. And you must be very skilled to be a warrior already.” She looked back forward. And her eyes softened. Thinking about when she and Breakbone had first met. She had never been a warrior before, and that would’ve suited her just fine but being appointed the rank of Beta female amazed her and the respect she got was almost overwhelming at times. The slightest smile appeared on her maw again as she then opened them to speak to the youngster for a little while longer.
“I would’ve loved being a warrior. But being Beta is an honor and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. If something had happened to Breakbone, I wouldn’t take his place unless he wanted me to.” She looked back at Naco with her eyes closed but still smiling. “I bet you could go farther in rank if you try hard enough. I’d love to see what you could do,” Her eyes opened and looked the other direction. “…But I have work to attend to. We shall meet again, Naco. But until then, take care of yourself.”
She stood up and started walking at her normal pace the direction she had come from. New work was to be tended to and Shadow wasn’t about to slack off. Her ears flipped back as she thought of this nice female, Avonaco. They will meet again, and next time they can talk more. Shadow would love to see what she could do, but that will have to wait. At least for now.
