Egotistical Tom strolled along the lands in a cocky strut, surly that strut would stop once the claimers of this land stepped out - but for now he was the highest official around. A feeling he enjoyed indeed. Navy gaze drifted toward the sky, producing and involuntary grin to light his features. How he loved the stars. Dusk had fallen rather quickly in these strange new lands; only moments ago the sun had been high in the sky showing it's radiance to the world. Or perhaps time just flies when your having fun. Whatever the reason, Javert decided it high time to stop and await his presence to be known. He'd been wandering for to long - it was time to settle into a pack that could use his ... ways of enforcing the rules. Olive colored rump sat itself gracefully upon the ground, quite a sight he was. Creamed chest puffed out, as if he owned the world.
The crimson made up his chin gave a very rugged appeal to the sabre, one that he quite enjoyed looking at. Now - don't get me wrong, he knew he had weaknesses as all creatures did. He was not the sort of fool to just dive into things without testing the waters first. No, Javert was far more careful then that. "Hm. I'd figure this place to be more lively come dusk." If evolution had allowed the sabre-tooth species to shrug, he would of. Since this was not that case - skull simply rolled on the neck it was attached to. Navy gaze remained trained on the stars, a slight smile flicking across his lips. The stars never left their post - they were the sentinels, keeping watch in the night. Stars held their place in the sky, they knew their course and their aim. Unlike the creatures that lay below just itching to leave their post and cause havoc.
He mulled over his thoughts and the stars for a moment longer, before banishing them to the realm were useless thoughts went to. Nostrils the color of dried blood inhaled deeply trying to pick up a scent, finding none gave continued its drift across the lands. Surly their had to be some creature here - the scents that he did pick up were no more then a day old. Caudal appendage with a tip dusted much like that on his chin swept the earth gently, in an attempt to make noise and make his presence more known. "If this place holds no pride, I shall be sorely disappointed." The words were louder than the needed to be for speaking to ones self. If that didn't draw out any sabre's hiding in the dark - he had no clue in hell what would.

An angry frown crossed her maw. He claimed "highest official"? Hah. This male was surely care free, which would get him in much trouble, but after the talk with Ziku kept passing her mind and wouldn't do anything about it. Yawning silently, laying her bulky body across the grassy terrain setting. Watching the sewage male with interest. Of course, what buisiness did he have on her territory? Probably nothing, but why blame that on one who knew the sort of nothing? Well, whatever was going on in the male's head surely had a dominant episode. He seemed worthy of Roumeg's supreme male, yet he was small and more eligable to be killed. He was cute, yet all his features had made it hard to find throughout the dusk which had fallen long ago. Brows lifted, one stayed it's natural pose. Hm. This male was interesting. Still deciding whether or not to say anything. It was very entertaining watching his preppy strut. So, he thought he was the boss of the town, heh? So be it. Maybe he would be the supreme male of Roumeg if Ximera saw it fit and began aweing at him with love; yet the male would have to prove his worthyness to her, which wouldn't be easy sense her sarcasm and dominant place in Roumeg. Another yawn set off, yet not silent this time. "What buisiness do you have in Roumeg territory?" She asked.

Ears flicked lazily towards the sound of a yawn, soon followed by words. The content smiles the stars had brought out replaced itself with a lazy smile that was only a few paces away from being called a smirk. So the fun begins, he thought, resisting breaking out in a grin. Luckily years of learning to control his features worked wonderfully and the lazy smile remained. Midnight gaze drifted to the voice, finding his gaze connected to cream dipped female who's features were unreadable in the dusk. It was she who spoke, interesting. Judging the way she held herself he judged she held a high rank - though just how high a rank he couldn't tell. Supreme Lady or second in command, he finally decided after a few more moments of studying her. If she indeed was Supreme Lady she'd mention it soon enough, he sure as hell would if the positions were switched.
"Business?" He repeated, before mulling over the proper answer. Would it be best to dance around the subject - or get straight to the point? Best to learn what you're getting into before you dive headfirst, "Well, I've heard of Roumeg from my travels. I don't think those conversations were meant for me to hear - but I did anyway. You sound strong. I suppose I wanted to see for myself - and perhaps join if it fits my taste." The lazy smile had yet to disappear but it drifted farther from being smirk and closer to being an actual smile - but just barley. A thought occurred before he decided to ask a question of his own, "And who would be asking?" Thought he appeared to have a lax attitude about him - every nerve was humming an aware. Go into a strange land and loose your guard - the next moment you end laying dead somewhere. Javert didn't have plans to die anytime soon.

Her gaze locked on the male with interest. So it was fun and games, was it? Lifting pale eyes, ears swiveled. Paws stepped upon the earth with a slow pace. Digits forced claws that mingled softly with the dirt, for defense if he would try anything like attacking. Truly, she'd be the one attacking if it wasn't for the male seemed to have a tinge of interest of joining Roumeg. Or so, was he messing with her head? Spine arched as she raised a brow. Ximera yawned slowly, glaring at the dust male which was hardly unnoticeable in the dusk. Her tail thrashed numbly, a smirk played across her cream face. It was hard not to break out in laughter at how the male was trying so hard to make himself, infact, seem "cool". To her, he was just playing smart.
"Who am I?" She mumbled, it was obvious the male was thickly a moron. Leaving that aside, a yawn stumbled from her maw then out in the open, then words tagged quickly along. "I happen to be Ximera, Leader of Roumeg Pride." That you happen to be stinking up with that odor of yours. She mumbled to herself. She growled a bit.

Invisible brow lifted slightly, this female certainly made no attempt to hide what she thought of you. Ah well - that was her problem, if she didn't like him he'd deal with it later. For now he would have to stay on her good side, which really couldn't be as hard as she made it seem. Or not - only time would tell. Creamed chest had deflated only the necessary amount when she proclaimed herself leader of these lands. After all, at the moment he was still the second most dominant feline in the lands - and he intended to keep that position as long as he could. "And why - may I ask - do you mutter?" The question held no sarcasm, but genuine curiosity, "Surly the leader of a powerful pride such as Roumeg would not be muttering things beneath her breath instead of speaking her mind aloud? Or perhaps I am reading far to much into things."
A lazy smile spread across his face, "You'll have to forgive me, I often do not think before speaking. I am Javert, Leader Ximera - thought at the moment I doubt you really care." He could be wrong, but the feline was a damn fine judge of character. At the moment his senses were still alert, if she chose to strike he would not fight against it. Let her be dominant - she was top cat around here and deserved to strut her stuff. At least for the time being, he would play a good little second in command.

Obviously this male did know his place in the lands, he just pretended as if he did not. Brows lowered back to there normal selves, surveying the male with interest, gaze fell upon his steady eyes and locked there. He wouldn't become meat, but he'd gain a good roll in Roumeg if he was to join. Ruffling her paws slowly, taking a slow pad forward. "I mutter for my own reasons, dear." Words held a smooth sarcasm, with a deep passion that could set off one who never got tense. What this male wanted was still hidden, but she decided not to find it out for now. He was smooth, it now became obvious he wanted to join. Stretching her body a bit, intense for the moment while. Gaze softened and didn't seem like she was going to pierce someones balls any moment.
She chuckled a bit. It was the "I don't give a fuck you or what you do." laugh. Shifting her head. "You are surely in your right place, you know you ways, you're strong and you have spunk. You'd make nice for second in command, don't you think, Javert?" She said, a smirk played across her "dangerous" maw as her tail flung through the air with passion.

{Computer's being strange and not letting me log into Javert o-o;}
Amused look danced in the feline's eye, from what she had shown so far Javert wouldn't mind horribly looking towards her as a leader. Until he joined the ranks of the Roumeg, he'd keep that little tidbit to himself. "Reasons, I'm sure you won't tell me." It wasn't an inquiring question, just a statement that he was sure of. Caudal appendage continued to flick this way and that on the sand, studying Ximera's features more carefully then before. He realized something that had not caught his attention before - she was not bad on the eyes. Why this mattered in the slightest he had no idea, though males are more likely to follow an attractive leader than an un-attractive one. As the look of wanting to circumcise him drifted out of her eyes, he relaxed a bit.
The smirk she gave was returned with a grin of his own, "Indeed I do, Leader Ximera. It really isn't my opinion that counts is it though?" Egotistical mannerisms that filled his mind, only grew at the flurry of compliments coming from the female. Those who spoke ill of her he could see flying off into death as soon as the words drifted from their mouth.

Maw lowered a bit, haunches found themself planted upon the emerald crust. A laugh floated into the air, finding itself wandering upon the sarcastic lines again. "Reasons unexplainable." Brows narrowed as a toothy grin found itself tinging across her maw. Caudal swayed in entertainment, creamy ochre canvas shifted, mass swayed a bit. Staring into the male's amused eyes, a half smile half grin hybrid slapped across her rims. Oral appendage lolled from her maw, licking her hungry chops as she eyed the dusk fallen hills. Minutes had passed now, after thinking and thinking she had finally thought out the male's position. Head jerked back a bit.
"Your opinion counts, as second in command."

His own laugh danced across the air to mingle with her own before fading away into a silence that was rather comfortable. Realizing she had spoke again, mind drifted to try and grasp her words. Damn him being lost in thought - as he often was - and not paying attention. Ah, mind at least grabbed the strand of words that had left her mouth, "I'm sure they are." Wry smile drifted over his face like a plant spreads her roots to reach the water concealed by soil. Thoughts began to drift again - what place would he hold in Roumeg? So far it seemed un-likely that she would label him an intruder and kill him were he sat off his guard, but he'd met felines who had changes of heart before. His thoughts were soon placed to rest as she spoke again.
Pleased grin spread across his face as mind registered what ears had told him, Second in Command wasn't half bad! Skull dipped hellwards in a feline bow, "I am honored, Leader Ximera. A decision you will not regret later - I'm sure."

A flushed smile crossed her maw as she eyed the male, taking his awnser. Bowing her head to Javert as a chuckle faded into the air. "Welcome to Roumeg, you will see Roumeg is a ferocious pride and we don't care who we kill. We have no enemies, though. So we only kill intruders on the spot, unless I'm around. I'm sure I could . . . handle them." A thin smirk replaced the smile, then fading as a thin line placed upon her lips. Over all Falchion was the closest to her, now Javert was second closest, other then Ziku. Cream chest puffed out, testing his actions against him.
"You will see you have made no mistake by joining Roumeg." She replied to him with a cold and selfish taste.

Attentive focus was given to her as she listed the rules of Roumeg, they really weren't that difficult. Kill intruders unless stated otherwise - no enemies to worry about, which was always a nice thing. The only real thing Tom had to worry about was keeping the feline's of Roumeg in line, which Ximera seemed to be doing a pretty damned good job of. "I have no doubt that you could." He replied, flashing a grin. Mind reeled with the news of his high position within the pride, and wondering what his first act would be. Meet the pride, he decided finally. Best to learn who the trouble makers were to start out with and put them in line now, before they had time to do something that would force them to knock on death's black door.
"Oh - I know that." Came his vocals to her remark, the grin flashing once more before returning the smile that had seemed to grace his features throughout their entire meeting.
