Newly appointed second commanding male, strolled across the lands searching for the pride members of Roumeg. So far, he'd only come into contact with Ximera - who had at once dashed off to some unknown place having not told anyone, to his knowledge, when she would be back. Did that mean he was in command? The idea brought a grin to his face, quite a rarity when the sun was still shining bright. Finding a spot that seemed suitable, olive-dusted rump planted itself on the ground. Skull swung itself left and then right, studying the barren area with a look of contempt. For some reason this was all to reminding of the first time he came to these lands. Ximera had been the only sabre within miles, and now that she was gone - what did that mean for the Roumeg?
He needed to see exactly all the numbers of the Roumeg Sabres, and how many pledged loyal to follow the rules that had been set. The bad seeds would have to be weeded out, but once they were gone so much the better for the Pride. And after that? There was no way to tell how many bad seeds would be present, and there was no way to know how many members of the Pride still existed. Perhaps they needed a recruitment of some sort - just incase something happened. There was not a doubt in Javert's mind something would happen, and soon from the sounds of the birds and rodents scurrying around more frightened then usual. They'd just have to do something about that though - now wouldn't they? Jaws opened themselves, letting a loud yowling sound escape his larynx. It was much the feline equivalent of a wolf's howl to gather his pack together in one meeting place.
"I wounder how many will actually show up." The words were muttered, and held disgust within them. How long it would take for even one feline to show up - he could not even begin to imagine. If it took until the moon was high in the sky, he would wait. But if the sun returned on the next dawn, Javert would be one pissed off Kitty Cat. A long and drawn out sigh escaped from him as he began his wait.

((Holland had been accepted by Ximera when she had a player but he needs a rank. ^^ That and I haven't rped him in a while))
Gray fur was visible as the male saber smoothly moved towards the two already there. Calm crimson eyes scanned the area for any others that might be waiting for a chance to attack or show themselves. So far he had found nothing. Paws barely seemed to touch ground as the gray and yellow male moved closer. Paws halted near Javert and black spotted ears flicked in a silent hello. He need not bo accepted, no. This male had seen Ximera and she had given him refuge here but no rank.
Rump planted itself behind to second in command calm expression on his face as well as a small smirk. How would the saber react to his powers was what olland was focused on. Commanding leaders always made or break a pride and it was time to see if this was the pride he should pledge loyalty to or go back to his wandering days. Head didn't dip towards the higher ranked. Body didn't shift it's position. Everything stayed how it was supposed to, not exactly high and not low either. If Javet expected respect from him, the saber male would have to prove it first.
Smirk widened slightly as Holland stood again, padding forward a bit more to stand a tad bit behind Javert and slightly at his side. "Recruiting are we? Don't worry. All I need is a rank. Ximera already 'welcomed' me with outstretched paws." Truth but some could detect the sarcasm in his voice. She had attacked him with paws outstetched. Not exactly a warm welcome.

Invisible brow raised itself at the Grey beast that responded to his call - was this really it? The look on his face did not reveal what he thought of Ximera's recruiting ability, but more what he thought of the sabre that had responded. He held his dominant position well, and turned to face the grey beast. Giving him a quick looking over, Javert instantly found a distaste for the opposite Tom. He looked like one that would not abide to the rules, which would certainly not do in a land were dust coated Second was in charge. From the way he spoke, Ximera had not been as pleasant to him as she could have been. The respect he held for cream coated damsel raised a few notches, always good to put new comers in their place if they had no clue what it was.
"If Ximera hasn't given you a rank - then you're rankless. You will receive one if you earn it. Until then, you will be treated lower than a subordinate." Chest was puffed out in dominance, and skull held itself high. No way in hell this sabre was going to make him play into his paws, if he didn't want to show respect so be it. But he would listen to Javert, or so help him god. Caudal appendage flicked in an idle manner, continuing to look Holland up and down. A though occurred to him, "Your name." The phrase was not a question, it was a command. Time to see if Tom cat could take orders - if he did not listen, or decided to act like a fool, he'd remain unranked until Ximera returned and decided what to with him. If he did listen, Javert would no longer think of him as dirt, but as mud. And everyone knows mud is far more fun then dirt.

Small smirk spread over the gray saber's face. So, this was the second in charge. Not much but muscle with a small brain in his book. Better to register him as one to humor. "Lower than a subordinate, eh? What? All becuae your leader hasn't bestowed on me a title?" There was hints of sarcam on his words as he spoke to the higher up. Tail flicked slightly side to side as if he was deabting weather or not to attack or sit still and listen. One ear flick as he sat his rump down on the grounds and his tail curled over his paws. Eyes stared at the male. So far there wasn't much differnece between him and Ximera.
"My name? It's only polite to give your name first." Grin was now on his face but not one of those normal happy grins. No. It was one of those evil looking grins like a madman about to strike. Teeth fully shown and eyes glowing with humor. "Holland." He could care less about politeness at the moment. Obviously this male didn't and Holland wasn't about to give respect and politeness to anyone who didn;t even give any himself. Claws unseathed from their places in his paws and scraped at the ground below him. His eyes shifted to the areas around him and the second-in-command. Recruitment and no one had come. "How sad."

(( Character has been modified personality and history-wise. I now feel comfortable to enter, if it's alright, despite bailing earilier, heh... Promice I won't vanish again. ))
A dark crimson shadow stalked across the land, following the sound of the call that had echoed through the trees and over the grasses to her ears. It was a summons, something she had been hoping to hear for a rather long time now... The crimson saber padded her way across the land, red eyes forward, studying the two cats posturing before eachother as she neared.
She increased her pace, starting into a quick gallop to reach the two quicker. A quick, loud cry came from her strong jaws, announcing her approach. It was only polite... and good practice, really. One doesn't run at a strange saber without a warning, unless you want a fight to break out. As much of a chill of delight that idea sent down her spine, she didn;t really want to engage in fisticuffs with what might be a superior...
At least just yet.
She smirked as she pulled to a stop near the two other, her jaws parted slightly as she panted for air. She drew herself up and took a seat a comfotrable distance away from the two, giving them both a thorough looking-over.
"Someone bellowed...?"

The sun was bright and warm on the ebon and navy pelt of Nightmayer as the Roumeg strolled about the grasslands. There was not much to do at the moment except for watch for those that wish to join the Roumeg pride and tresspassers, as well as watching the members. Nightmayer was having a decent day today, it wasn't too hot, not too cold.
A smile crept across faes maw as she heard the sound of someone calling a summons. Who was it? Nightmayer wasn't completely sure, but she padded in it's direction anyways.
Bi-colored frame stopped moving when she scented that of another female saber. Sapphire eyes scanned the grassland as she looked for the owner, and saw a crimson feline walking up to two other sabers. Oh, it was Javert that had called, the Second in Command. But who was that standing next to him? Well, whoever it was, she could tell they didn't like one another. I better get up there before they start a fight. It looks as if one of them has already been in a scrape with someone. She thought as she dashed up to them, releasing a roar of greeting to them all.
Nightmayer was a kind saber and disproved of violence. True it had it's advantages, but when there's too much of it nothing is sacred anymore, not even family. The second subordinate loved family, especially the cubs, and was known to take some in when they had nowhere to go and no one to look after them. She was not looking after any at the moment, but kept a carefull eye out just in case.
When Nightmayer reached the two males, the other female did so too. "Hello." She said in a kind voice to the group, sapphire optics gentle and showing her personality. These new sabers were somewhat odd to her, and from their scents, she could tell that the grey male had met Ximera before she ran off, and it looked like that's who gave him his cuts and bruises. But the crimson fae across from her was completely new to her, she hadn't met up with any of the Roumeg members. What was she doing here then? Perhaps she wished to join the pride. Well, all in good time.

Eyes rolled in their sockets - he had no time for this. Ximera would deal with bastard of a male when she returned, for now he'd send him on his way to get out of his face. "And I am Javert. Do not forget my name." The sneer had gone from his face, he'd deal with gray coated male at a later date - for now he had newcomers to deal with, and loyal members to greet. "You will remain rank-less in Roumeg, until you prove yourself. I have said that. I will not give you a rank until that time." Hopefully feline knew a dismissal when he heard it - if not Javert's patience would run thinner then it already had been. For the circumstances, he'd been a rather pleasant fellow. Not barring of the fangs, nor showing of the claws. Simply words that demand not respect, beast could care less if he was respected, but that all rules were followed. For upholding the laws of the land was really what made or broke a pride or pack. Probably why the Chicotah was doing so horribly - but they'd return to their feet soon, all of Roumeg had faith in them.
As conversation ended with the one called Holland a new female appeared, hopefully this one knew her place. Doubt it, judging by the way my luck's going. Oh well - best thing to do in times of crisis is stick it out, Ximera'll be back soon. Until then you can take care of things. Reassured by these thoughts - whether they were true or not - he continued to eye the new female. She looked strong, always a good thing. Dame also looked like a trouble maker, but one can not always get the full idea of a creature just by their looks. "I believe that was me - do you have some intention of joining the Roumeg?" Not a cynical tone held his voice, but merely a curious one. A straight to the point one. One that said 'Do not waist my time, I am in no mood.' He could only hope to any god that would listen she would not beat around the bush.
As another sabre made her way into the lands - invisible brow raised itself. Well, wasn't it just a party now! Curious glance was given her way until she was close enough to distinguish her features, at which point a grin broke out upon his face. Nightmayer, he had always liked the female. She took her place as subordinate well - and never reached for power as most sabres did. And she followed the rules, something most of the sabres had to learn the hard way. "'Allo Nightmayer." He called in a friendly voice, relieved to have some back up opinions of the sabres that would or would not be a part of the Roumeg lands. That and he was growing tired of the attitude problems they all seemed to have, maybe Subordinate could manage to shut them up with her cheerful disposition. The grin faded away into a stern look as he eyed the two others sabres, what was he going to do with them?

Ximera's paws thudded enraged almost, upon the soft emerald foilage as she triumphed upon the earth. Eyes narrowed, caudal flicked in annoyance. Javert should have took care of Roumeg while I was gone, if not I will kill him. Stopping, loping to the ground as she took in a scent. About five scents, one unknown. So was it a fight, a gang up on? Licking her ghastly lips, she sat on 'er rump, squinting her icy eyes, and bared flickering objects in the distance.
A smirk danced upon her ghastly lips, black clouds built up like sky scrapers umong the heavens, draping the earth of misery, and once again to build a hide out for shelter. Soon enough rain started to dance upon the Roumeg, dappling young cubs with pleasure and excitement, soon to be rounded up by their mothers and the care takers. Her head was thrown up into the sky, staring up through the clouds, peaking into the cracks. How ever, it was old Ximera to trust on to tell the weather.
She could tell any thing if you wanted, but surely you wouldn't be alive by her tests before you could even set foot upon a historic word. She lifted, ears drew upwards, caudal set high, eyes narrowed, and held held high. Ears arrect and alert as the water dappled her cream canvas. The rain would not last long, so it would give hard rain. She yawned and leaped towards the small group. Huffing to herself, it was not a fight as how much she pleaded for it to be.
Grinning, she stepped in right into the conversation, cutting off any one's words with a sharp snort. Glaring to Javert, eyes lighted up as she noticed how in charge he acted. "Don't get to carried away, Javert. " She lowered her head, and put a paw on her chest in a bow, then came back to dominant pose. Stepping aside Javert, slightly moved forward, she stared at the stranger. "What buisiness do you have on my lands?" She growled out in a perfect tone.

The crimson female gives Nightmayer a polite nod and grin as the other fae strides up to the other two males. Scionos doesn't seem much perturbed at the curt challenge of her intentions from Javert, about to open her mouth and reply when Ximera of all the big cats across the lands showed up.
Scionos' breath caught in her throat for a second as the Alpha put all of her attention right at the crimson fae... Alpha female... biger, meaner and inc ommand of some of the fiercest warriors in the lands, and is able to keep them in check and stay dominant... That is one hell of a glare to fall under. Scionos clicks her strong teeth together, gathering her courage and sitting straighter instead of the sort of slouch she was in before. Her face looses it's smirk and she looks right back into Ximera's eyes... it is not a challenging look, even though Scionos certainly looks like she is an aggressive type, she is not stupid enough to try that...
At least just yet, in any case. No, her eyes are locked onto Ximera's to show she is paying complete attention.
In a short, clipped voice she makes her reply, "I was poaching in your lands when I heard the male there," she nods to Javert, "Make a call to summons... I wish to join the Roumeg pack..."
Her eyes narrow now, head bowing a bit. There is the unmistakable sound of claws digging into earth coming from her. Scionos' front paws are moving slightly, long and sharp claws kneading into the ground, "By whatever means I must..."

Nightmayer smiled at Javert. He liked to enforce the rules, and she was fine with that. She didn't have any problem with their rules, and the last time she probobly broke one was when she was just a cub and still learning them. "And what are we here for Javert?" Sapphire eyed saberess asked in her calm and kind tone before she heard their leaders voice speak to him. Ximera was back. But where had she gone and why? This got to her somewhat. Was there something more important to their leader than her pride? No, that was crazy thinking. Of course not! How could she think that?
"Hello Ximera." Nightmayer greeted with a dip of the head. Javert had been taking good care of the pride in her absence, but there was just something that he couldn't make whole when their beloved leader was away.
What business do you have on my lands?
Yes, this was definately Ximera. She had her own tone of voice, and it suited her well, as well as her position. The three of them were all about rules, and lately they haven't had to enforce any of them. But with these two newcomers, that could rattle the system. They might have to learn the hard way about the Roumeg ways, their rules and how to act in the presence of a superior.
Sapphire optics were cast upon the crimson female of which Ximera was talking to. Poaching? Which part of the word did she mean? "Were you hunting in our lands or just trespassing on them?" She asked, ebon and navy rear connecting softly with the ground as she sat, curling her tufted tail around her paws. It seemed like she was scared of Ximera for a few moments, and with good reason. A little part of the reason Nightmayer obeyed the laws was so Ximera could not punish her. The sandy fae was a fierce warrior and commanded many strong sabers. She would hate to get on her bad side.
I wish to join the Roumeg pack.
Pack? What were they, wolves? No matter. It was good that there was still interest in their pride, good for new blood. Hopefully this crimson female was trustworthy and dependable enough to join the Roumeg Pride. Nightmayer could only hope. First impressions meant everything, and she wasn't too impressed with Hollond.

Holland
Eyes rolled in their sockets. A female had arrived to Javert's call. Great. Increase his pride level by a few knotches and give him a stupid little thought that he might be important. Sure he was with holding more power than Holland at teh current moment but get to full of yourself and things so downhill for everyone.
Ximera and another female coming apon the scene didn't help his thoughts. Low growl emmited and eyes rolled again as a small sigh escaped his lips. Great. Just great. Claws unsheathed and dug into the ground in a desperate move not to turn and stalk away. The sand colored leader seemed not to notice him yet. That was fine with him for the moment. Didn't matter if they knew he was there or not. Holland was fine with being alone. It gave him time to find out what good this pride would bring him.

The Crimson glances to Nightmayer, a bit of a glare, actually. Scionos clicks her teeth togther once before speaking, eyes narrowing just so slightly... subtle challenge.
"Poaching. Trespassing upon the land and trying to take prey. I'm from the borderlands, born within neutral ground and having to fight for every scrap of meat I could find." She turns her attention back to Ximera, "My heritage is Roumeg, and I thought to return to my roots, with the hope of finding a pride instead of having to wander alone for the rest of my years," she shoots Nightmayer another glance, grinning toothily, "And I just happened to get hungry while doing it."

{Refrain from OOC, when it's un-needed. Computer's not letting me on Javert}
The relief that filled Tom cat as Ximera returned to her post could not been seen on his features, but it was there non-the-less. It was a pain to deal with whiners who would not listen even after a couple slaps in the face - and he was much more satisfied taking up his roll as commander over the law instead of commander over Roumeg. "Of course not Lady Ximera." He replied, hiding the grin that fought to be prominent on his face. This new female had to learn Ximera was a force to be reckoned with, and not one to pal around with if you were not on her good side. The bow she had given him, was returned with one of his own, and a more submissive stance was taken. No longer was he the most powerful one in the area - now he was to take up his roll of Second in Command, just were he liked himself.
Holland had been forgotten - he needed to learn respect, true, but he followed the rules as much as Javert liked so there was no need to remember him. He'd been given a dismissal, and if Ximera wished to speak with the grey dappled sabre hurray for him. Attention was focused on female, skull cocking itself to the side curiously, "It would do you best to respect those in the Pride, as even they have a higher ranking then you at the present time." The statement was placid, as if he had simply commented that it was raining. No need for ripping out her throat for a simple mistake as glaring at a subordinate - now if it had been Ximera he need not have said a word. Creamed Lady would have this damsel down in a second if her place was forgotten for even a moment.

Ximera pawed the foilage, blades raking the ground. "Roumeg needs strong members, but to joni you need to learn your place." She growled, baring her teeth. "Accepted. Don't expect respect, even from your own ranked Roumegs. Once you join, there is no turning back, cub. Once you learn you'll place, you'll move up to Subordinate, then so on." As she heard the slight growl of Holland, she turned to him.
"Behave, mutt. Learn your place or I'll have Javert on your tail." She growled lowly. Shaking her head at Holland. "Holland, attack this chocolate female as you please. Because you are officially moved up to a warrior. You'll be treated with respect from now on, Warrior Holland. She said she was hungry, right?" She grinned wickedly. Turning to Nightmayer, she bowed her head. "Welcome, Night. Glad to see you're still around these parts."
She moved towards Javert. "You are dismissed, all of you. Be free to wander, but don't get my pride into trouble, got it?" Before waiting a second for the tiniest awnser, she snapped. "Good." Trotting off, her paws began to flex her claws and began into a dash.

Nightmayer remained silent while words were exchanged, as well as mean looks. This new female indeed needed to learn respect and their laws, but there was time for that. She herself would not be able to discipline very hard unless pushed to a breaking point, and that was semi-hard. It would either take days and days to achieve this, or something that was seriously wrong with whatever you said or did.
Sapphire eyes gleamed brightly in the light rain that was falling. Large cats such as themselves had no fear for rain or bodies of water. Or was it just her? The female subordinate studied the crimson fae as Ximera spok to her. She would like to get to know this saber. She'd also like to get to know Holland and Javert better, so she knew enough, if not all, of the members in her pride.
But there was also time for that, and plenty if the war could be successfully avoided for the saber prides. Navy and noir saberess did not like the idea of fighting when there was no need other than to expand territory or eradicate those of another sub-species such as the Ironfangs. Ximera herself was half and half, and if they could put up with her then shoulddn't they be able to put up with full blooded Ironfags? She didn't know, she'd have to meet one.
Nightmayer stood, mud beginning to cling to the fur around her feet and rump. "If any of you ever wish to have a chat with me, I'm open to anything." She said aloud in that kind, unprovoking voice as Ximera ran off again and giving her friendly and motherlike smile. She flashed a glance at Javert before turning and making her way back down the hill, toward the lake near the neutral territory yet still plenty within the Roumeg boundaries. "I'll be by the lake if anyone is interested." She called back, still picking her way down the muddy slope.
