Lifeless, transparently white eyes roamed over the unknown faces. Her clouded form glided over the snow much like the ghostly form of the restless deceased come back from beyond. She gave no turn of her head, only gazing around her and appearing like a phantom whiteback come to claim them.
White paws slowed her movements, listening to the spoken words and tones. True enough that there were few of the pack in number, and that there had been little to join in on their ranks, but the bloodbacks won't attack them. No the bloodbacks were too busy to think of invading chicotahs than the dwindling lifeflow of the whitebacks.
Her head tilted, actually seeming to look as if something interested her. Genevieve's transparent pupils darted to Feraz's form, they still made her appear as if she were blind, and she delicately strolled over to him. Certainly this was a whiteback with an air of determination and power over the others, there was without a doubt in her mind that this was the high ranking Feraz she had heard of but moments ago.
"Well enough, beta Feraz. We had just been called for a meeting, however dear Galieo seems to be missing..." She dipped her head in respect.

His eyes looked around at the small group, suddenly a female came strolling to him. Tail twitching as he heard her say that Galieo. "Hmm missing you say? Thought he'd stay around abit longer for me." he was unsure if anyone knew where he went, but he didn't quite know where he went either.
Glancing over at the others, he saw some faces he didn't know. Finally speaking up he asked with a tone of authority, "Anyone know who called this little welcome party?" he didn't like the idea of anyone acting as if they were leader, even if it was the right thing to do.

Feraz was back. Well, well, well. Distrust had built up in Kreuz's heart for their beta, although at his sight it loosened slightly. Feraz did tend to be likeable. Although, unpredictable in a sense - would he go crazy when he saw Teekon? Rip his brother to shreds? That thought scared Kreuz more than anything.
He stood at Beta's question. "I called this sorry pack together," he said. "I wanted to know how far gone we were. I didn't expect your arrival," his voice lowered into a snarl, "Sir." Kreuz had had enough of Feraz not leading them properly. Galieo was just as bad a leader - gone almost as much. He loved his pack, but he was getting much to annoyed with this absence. He felt like going crazy, sometimes. "Where have you been? We needed you, Beta."

Beta looked at the 'lead' warrior, "Impatient are we? Well, since I do owe you an explanation, i'll say i've been getting information about... things. I've also managed to get some others to consider our pack and join it. Now does anyone else have any questions? Good." looking around again, he spotted, Teekon. 'So he's come back to us?' he thought. Well if he wants to come back already, i'll have to 'test' him.
"Could ya do a favor for me?" whispering to Kruez. He turned and looked at the female beside him. Bounding off to where no one could hear them he motioned Kruez to follow.

Kreuz didn't like Feraz's answer - but the Beta made it clear it was time to move on. He saw the glance at his brother and panic filled his heart - was Feraz going to do something harsh? Kreuz was upset at Teekon's abandonment, too - but he accepted him to his heart again. They were brothers, after all. Kreuz pictured Feraz declaring Teekon their kicking bag and his heart pounded. ' I'm jumping to conclusions' he thought, ' Feraz won't do anything too crazy.' His ears perked up in confusion as Feraz asked him for a favor. He should be announcing things to the pack! Telling them what to do! How to prepare for war! But the beta had jumped away before Kreuz could argue. Taking one last glance (or more, glare) to the pack, and a "I'll be back" look to Teekon, he took off behind the leader. As he caught up, he sent another distrusting look at Feraz. "Sir, shouldn't you be preparing us for the upcoming war? The Bloodbacks are getting quite... Abdundant. And the Chicotah are becoming restless - they may need assistance in the near future." He sighed, giving up on trying to explain his worry to Feraz. "What do you need?" ((ooc. I suppose we should take this to another post - the pack can mingle, that way, and Feraz and Kreuz can return when they're done talking? You decide ))

Climbing the mountain dutifully, the black wolf's feet grew tired. She had come to Whiteback to join - but could find no members. Prayers soon answered, Sharptooth heard a howl calling for the pack she had hoped to join. Dutifully, her trot became a run. Taking it slow, however, she found herself coming very late to the howl she had heard.
She came across a bunch of wolves just sitting around. Looking at each of them, she lowered herself in respect. "Who is the alpha?" she ordered to them, not seeing a single high-stance wolf. "I want to join."

She had actually been making a vocal effort toward her pack's survival and just as her suggestion was being taken in, he arrived. Beta Feraz. Amber eyes targeted his form as he strolled up like he'd just seen them yesterday. Sugha's eyes narrowed disapproving of this choice of entrance. She didn't know the Beta directly, but as any wolf in a pack, she knew who her superiors were. And she knew how he favoured Kreuz. The look he was giving his brother Teekon was less than favourable however and it sparked her curiousity, raising an eyebrow toward the wolf before turning away and deciding to mind her own business.
Sugha stood, shaking out her smokey pelt as the two males began to seperate from the group and she snorted. "If there is no need for my presence here, I will take leave," she announced, turning her back and back to her original lonley and grumpy mood. This was turning out to be a rotten day. Vidarok and Galieo had dropped off the face of the earth, she was in Kreuz's irritating shadow once more, and... the snow just kept falling. Each flake that settled on her pelt brang a chill to her remembering her family that had lost their battle against the season's bitter harshness.
She barely noticed the new female speed past her into the small group remaining and bluntly demanding membership. Sugha snorted with a dark sense of amusement, glancing back to watch everyone else's reaction instead of disappearing into the wilderness just for the moment. "There is no Alpha... not yet."

"There is no alpha?" statement perked an eyebrow. "Hmph," she sat down, looking around at the group. She saw quite a few wolves. The were quiet and didn't speak to each other - was there a problem in the pack? She had heard great things about Whiteback - was this truly the pack she had hoped to join? A pack with no alpha and no spirit? Well, Sharp would change that. If there was no alpha, did that mean she could fight for the position? Or was there one in pending? She pondered her options carefully - she could, essentially, just start spraying around and announce that she had taken over. But Sharptooth would not do that - the few members this pack already had would probably kill her.
She had heard Whiteback was strong, and that is why she chose this pack. Sharp was a wolf of power and she wanted a strong pack to be able to support her. But, looking at the crowds, she saw lifelessness. One wolf (who she would later refer to as Inak) held herself slightly higher than the rest, but not high enough for Sharp. The female who had spoken to her also held herself differently - with what, dignity? Sharp took a quick liking to this female. She had something the others appeared to lack. The rest of the wolves appeared to have lost spirit - why? Curiosity filled her up, but she didn't speak her concern. She simply looked at them, eyes burning with spirit. She would fix this pack.

Feraz darted in after smelling another wolf they didn't know. Ears perked up and tail held high, he walked to the new comer. Speaking in a tone of authority he stated, "What do you want? Your not from here, and you smell like no one else. " if her reason wasn't good enough he'd have to drive her out. A low growl came from his throat, even if they did need more members he wouldn't let them come in so easily.
Keeping his eyes on the intruder he waited, sniffing the air a thought passed his mind 'Wait I only smell 11 here... SOMEONE LEFT! Or maybe they were taken out by this intruder.' claiming himself down about the situation, it was his first day back and it was going to be a good one, even if he had to force it to be good.

'Ah.. This must be their highest wolf,' she thought. Standing up and hanging her tail down to show submission (although the rest of her body was rather aloof), the black wolf looked at him. "I'm Sharptooth. I'm here to join." She would not explain herself further - Sharp wasn't the vocal type. Instead, she looked at the wolf in front of her almost boredly. Suddenly, she felt a yawn and expressed it quite loudly before plopping her butt onto the snow.
Gaze still tiredly set on the male in front of her, she thought of her pelt being quite a bit darker than the snow she sat on. She had, however, seen another dark wolf behind her. If he could survive, she could too. She had heard of dark wolves becoming lighter with time, and guessed that it might happen to her, as well. Only time could tell.

(Thats fine.)
Teekon
He sat there silently, watching the members, and strangers gather. Galieo probably had a very good reason for missing this. He hadn't lost faith in his pack. Not yet. Hell, it took Inak long enough to get there, so he was sure Galieo would show up. In the mean time he would wait. He listened to his brothers words passed back and forth from one to the other in conversation, and he just remained quiet, possibly baffling everyone since no one aside from Inak and Kreuz knew who the hell he was. That just made it all the more fun.
Emerald eyes widened slightly at the sight of the Beta who made his oh-so-undramatic entrance. So the old fart was still alive, and still his same old, weird self. Teekon lowered himself submissively to his Beta. The black wolf wasn't afraid of his death if it were to be delievered just then. He would have deserved it after all. Teekon hated cowards, and that's why he hated himself with such a passion. However, not one word was spoken to Feraz or Kreuz. He'd let his younger brother do the negotiating with their "leader". His ears then swivled to the voice of an unfamiliar, a stranger.
Still, he reamained silent.
This was how he functioned. He stayed out of business mosto f the time and listened. That way he gained more information and was able to soak it in. A small snerk was given to this stranger wolf before he returned his vision to his brother and Feraz, who were now making their way off to talk privately.
"I'll just wait here then." He said as they left, and gave a wolfish shrug.
So, now he was left with other members, and strangers of the pack. Sugha he looked to with a similar look that Kreuz might've had on his face. "Perhaps you shouldn't leave quite yet. I'm certain the missing members will show their faces shortly. It took Inak and Feraz a bit to get here. Be patient." A bit of a strict glare was given. This pack was impatient now. Used to they would wait days and days for something. Pity.

Sugha paused her departure and for once in her life she bit her tongue and silently growled at herself for letting such information slip. They were trying to gain new members and she'd just blurted out their pack's supposed weakness. "There isn't exactly lack of leadership in this pack," she quickly returned to the group to stand next to the newcomer in an almost desperate attempt to keep her here, "By all means there is plenty of those who wish to lead. There is just no Alpha position taken. Our Beta has just stepped off for a private conference. He will return soon to question you." As she finished speaking, black auds swiveled to Kreuz's brother and she frowned. Great. He may aswell have had a twin. Amber eyes simmered with a temper she held back expertedly but she couldn't hold her tongue very well right at that moment. "I've been waiting for far too long for this pack to get it's act together, so don't lecture me on patience," she hissed in her silky voice thinking it rather rude for him to speak up considering she had only just seen his face within these packlands. He hadn't been here with them.
Feraz quickly returned however and his strange and loud behaviour made Sugha cringe. "Keep your tail on Beta Feraz," she managed a good humoured smirk, "I'm still here..." He acted like an idiot sometimes, but she wouldn't make the mistake of underestimating him. He wasn't Beta for no reason. Sugha sat once more in the snow with a sigh of relief seeing that the newcomer was not deterred by the awkward chain of events that had just happened and still wished to join. The smokey pelted wofless sat quietly, giving another sharp look to Teekon before settling herself infront of the Beta and his soon interogation of the new wolfess seeking acceptance.

Teekon
At the moment, he cared not for the newcommer, or Feraz. He and Feraz had been on good terms before his cowardly act and if he knew the beta well enough, which he did more than anyone in this pack right now, he would be easy on him. Easier compared to another wolf that he didn't know as well. Omega or not, he would not take such arrogance and attitude towards him. He was Teekon, and as far as he was concerned, he had rights over all of them except Feraz out of seniority, and having been a Whiteback the longest.
The lands were starting to get to him again, and it was in his blood to be quick tempered. It was how most Whitebacks were. Not to mention he had pride as well, and he'd prove to Feraz he was worthy of a high rank again, that he was no longer a coward. Teekon stood with his tail and head high, nearly at the level Kreuz would hold himself. Lips were drawn back and a rather nasty snarl started. This wasn't a side he showed very often. At least not in the past.
"Don't you talk to me in such a way," He snapped right back to her. "You will be patient and you will wait. No one has said this meeting is over yet. If I must hold you here by your throat I will do so. Sit your ass back down and wait." He bristled. Teekon was already larger than the average Whiteback, and that only made him look bigger.
With a snort towards her, he started to pace around, his keen eyes on those present. She called herself a Whiteback? She acted more like a Chicotah without sense at all. They were smarter than those bloodlusting killers. He did not lower himself much when Feraz returned, only so much as to show respect, but he would not be a push-over to the pack. He was a damn good leader, and simply because he was soft spoken half the time and prefered to stay out of fights they all thought he was weak and spineless. No more of that. He'd take Alpha position even just to prove that. But, at the same time, he didn't exactly want to fight Feraz for it. He'd rather work under the Beta.
