A heavy stare was sent down toward the Bloodback lands. They were moving up the mountain - taking over their land. Eventually, Whiteback would be nothing if this kept up. Where was his pack?! Galieo was gone, Feraz was gone. Kreuz had been wandering aimlessly and alone for days. Their land was big enough, but to feel this alone, and not see a soul?
Lifting his head in howl, Kreuz called for his pack. He wanted to know the truth. If his pack was just disappearing. If Feraz and Galieo had disappeared, was Kreuz in charge of the pack? A brow lifted. Feraz might be upset if he knew Kreuz was calling for everyone like he was leader - but he would deal with that later. This pack was going straight to Hell and Kreuz was getting annoyed.
This sorry bunch of wolves needed to get their act together. They didn't see the threat of the growing Bloodback wolves - or maybe they did, and just didn't care. Kreuz didn't want his homeland taken over by that dirty-backed scum. He would fight - even if he was the only one doing it.
If Galieo or Feraz, or even Imak happened to come to his howl, he would let them take over. They at least had a better grip on things than the lower ranks. But he somehow doubted the ranking wolves were anywhere to be seen. Where had they gone?! A low growl emitted from his throat and sharp green eyes glared at the world around him. What was happening to his pack? Why were its members slowly disappearing?
He stood from his position and paced impatiently. If any member of the pack were still around, they would be here soon. The lands weren't so big. Kreuz would rebuild this pack by himself if he had to. Go find Pisca and Teekon and forcedly make them members! The white wolf wouldn't let this pack die.

Windswept hills and mountains where to be climbed. Oh, the irony! She had been in the pack a few months but she barely knew any one. But yes, she had been accepted into the Whiteback lands. She climbed up the hill, and just as she did, she store out at the open plains. There was no pups crying and laughing, batting and playing. The Omega huffed.
Silence. She still stared more. But then a crackling whine, a searing howl that tore through the heavens like no other. A different howl. Her ears perked, and immediately she took off like a silver bullet, flying through the air as she danced on the snow, going so fast she didn't sink through the snow. When she stopped, she skidded, and snow flew every where, and gasping slightly. "Alpha Kreuz!" She gasped slightly.

((ooc. that last sentence I don't get... o.O?))
His patience was running thin with this pack. His howl had gone out minutes ago, and no one had arrived. He'd expected at least one to come soon. After releasing another low growl, his nose twitched - someone was finally coming. Frostbite flew in, covering Kreuz with snow. His pacing stopped and he nudged her nose in acknowledgement - though his nudge was empty and lacking any sign of affection.
He laughed coldly at her greeting. "I'm not your alpha yet," he told her, though his voice lacked any sign of humor. Kreuz plopped his rump on the snow and straightened himself dominantly. "Have you seen any others of this pack?" His question was more of a demand than anything.
He grunted lazily, not paying attention to the female or whatever she would say in response. Although his call had been to the pack, he was mostly hoping for the arrival of a ranked member. As much as he saw himself perfect to lead this pack, he was much too lazy and didn't want to deal with it. Kreuz looked distantly past Frostbite in hopes of seeing someone else. Would he be destined to leave this pack like his two brothers? Where would he go? Sighing sharply, his gaze and attention drifted back toward the female.

She lifted upon fluffy hind legs, stepping back and shaking a bit so no more snow would fall upon the higher rank. She grumbled to herself, eying the open plains a bit. Whiteback hadn't been the same. It would never become so famous like Chicotah or any other. Whiteback was only known to have about six or less members to live upon the snowy and open tundra. Digits flexed, popping a bit as the moved. She stretched out, much like the cat. She darted a gaze around again, then quickly bowed her white skull towards Kreuz.
"No, sir. Sorry to say I haven't spotted a Whiteback for months now. Lucky if the Chicotah hasn't come and taken them out. I'm sure they wouldn't have, though. You and the others do a good job of keeping the pack in shape, but the hierachy isn't doing so well, sire." She said calmly, looking about warily. (Note: Frostbite is an Omega of Whiteback because I took a design from Taco and he said I would be automatically accepted though as Omega. And she calls him Alpha because she thinks he is a good leader. )

These lands were suffocating. The snow only held a secret sorrow for the amber-eyed wolfess, and now a lonliness had endured these conditions. Vidarok had disappeared; her fire. His pelt of rich browns and earthy oranges was nowhere to be seen, neither was his scent carried along the breeze to the smokey-pelted Whiteback. And now Galieo was a ghost. Vidarok had warned her off of him, and she had understood why recently after seeing the Delta tear into a wolf threatening the stability of the Whitebacks. It was good to have a strong guardian, but no creature however evil deserved such a gorey and viscious death.
It was only her now amongst a small sea of wolves she hardly knew or chose not to know. Vidarok's absence was making her feel cold and ageing. Yet, she was a spirited wolf, not an emotional human. A Whiteback, and not some Aryian weakling. She would continue on; these lands had been her home since she was born and she'd be damned if others walking out of her life was going to stop her from her duties to this 'family' she had.
Some family this was turning out to be though. Sugha had changed over these past occurances. She was quieter and less inclined to start up tension with her quick-witted tongue and silky voice. It was a depression she was attempting to keep temporary. For now all she could do was amble along in the snow after Kreuz's haunting call. She didn't like that wolf; his arrogance prodded at her patience but he was still a prominent figure of her pack. His howl sounded urgent.
She wasn't surprised to see another with him before she. Sugha had hardly rushed over. "Kreuz," she nodded in greeting, eyes dull and brooding before turning to this female, "And I have not met you before... but no doubt Whiteback needs new faces." She sat in the shallow snow, her pelt of smoke rising from it's white grave. She remembered when she used to sit by Vidarok, his heated pelt basking beneath her grey form, rising over him like whisps of smoke. A partnership. You never saw one without the other. Until now.
There was a slight chilling air of dormant dominance and confidence around the wolfess merely due to her history within these lands. Sugha had made the decision long ago within herself that if her packlands were in need of a leader, she would step forward but until that most desperate moment she would simply keep her strong loyalties on display.
"Matters obviously need to be discussed...,"she looked to Kreuz, catching his emerald eyes with her firey ones, trying to bridge an understanding between the two even if they did not get along famously.

He plodded in delayed as usual. Teekon wasn't an official member here again quite yet. That was up to Feraz unless he didn't return soon. However, he figured he might as well attend this and get to know the newer members, what little members this so called pack still had. This was his home, and it was suffering. In a way, it felt like punishment for abandoning them and perhaps it was, but Teekon would make this right.
He was the older brother, after all, and it was the older ones duty to always help the younger. That's exactly what he planned to do - even if it meant the two taking the alpha position to share. Feraz damn sure wasn't in a hurry to do anything about this. He had been beta when he left, and he was sitll beta. The old wolf just didn't care abou their pack enough, and if should be led by those who do. Technically, it wasn't mutiny. There was no leader, and both of them had full rights to taking over.
As he came upon the whole three of them, he nodded to the two unfamiliars while holding himself above them, but below his brother for now, then went to plop his rear down in the snow by him. Hopefully some of thise snow would start to melt with the arrival of summer and they'd seen some green on this mountaintop - maybe some better prey.
"So this is all that's left of us Kreuz?" There were a couple of other new scents, but they had not been matched with faces yet. "I suppose this is better than nothing."

Kreuz ignored Frostbite's words - he was more interested in watching Sugha appear. Although the two of them had never gotten along, she had been a loyal and trusted member of this pack for a long while. He was glad to see at least one old face in these crowds. Nodding his head in greeting, he acknowledged that he would have to start tolerating the quick-witted female.
He too felt abandoned by the absense of Vidarok. Seeing Sugha alone was a rare sight, but lately her companion had been absent. He had been just as loyal as she was. Had he run away as well? Sugha had been acting a lot worse lately, and it worried Kreuz greatly. It appeared they had lost yet another loyal member.
The thoughts quickly passed as a tuff of black pawed his way in. He smiled in welcoming of his brother and nudged his nose affectionately. "There are probably a few members still on their way. I'm beginning to doubt the arrival of any ranked member. We will wait a little longer, for any others that are taking their bittersweet time in coming," his voice sounded cold and angry. "Then, we will discuss the happenings of this pack."

Inak stood silently, trudging through the snow, before she heard a brisk, high howl that toppled over the highest mountains. Her eyes, blinded by the snow, couldn't find the way. Her nose, the most sharpest of all sensibilities, could not find the owner of the howler's scent any where. It was, Kreuz. And she was lost in the storm. She turned her head side to side, squinting to find any sort of thing to guide her. For the past few minutes she vould figure nothing out of the sort that could help her even the slighest bit, when then a streaking thought passed. So, that's how it would be. Reluctantly, she lifted her skull towards to sky, and let out the loudest howl she could bring from silent vocal cords, a piercing howl that she had given her last bit of strength for, and lowered then began to run.
Flying through the skys as fast as she could, her legs taking her to the faint scent of Kreuz and the other wolves. Before long she stopped, hot on her trail, and panted heavily, chest heaving painfully. She looked around. No familiar scent or outline. So she reclaimed her breath as her own, and then frostily led forth in a jog, then burst into a run, but now she knew she was a little closer because familiar scents rose through her nostrils and signaled just that. Pack members. She barked, which to the others the bark was faint. Now she saw the outline of about four or some wolves in the outlaw. An extra burst of speed and she flew through the snow, and stopped silently, chest heaving hoarsely.
She looked up from hopeful eyes, and barked in a greeting at Kreuz, for now ignoring any other outline, scent, or what ever the sort. She panted heavily, and lay down brisky in the plain snow, gazing up at Kreuz, about six or less feet away from him. She grinned slightly as she sat up and shook her frame, sending particles of snow every where. She turned, to find Teekon. Her jaw nearly dropped. Teekon? Was it really him? She looked up at Kreuz with wide eyes, then turned her maw to Teekon, then back and shook her skull slightly. "Kreuz ..." She coaxed slightly. "Sorry for my absent appearance, but you heave an important message?" She asked.

Frostbite shook her skull slightly, taking off any more flakes and lending them to wilter to the frosted floor. She backed up and lay there, a far distance from the rest of the group. Days were slow, tiring, and boring here in Whiteback. But at least there were some kind people. Well, kind of nice. She decided to meet the other wolves, but not yet. Observing them slightly, she yawned. One was a smoky color- with white, and loyal, auburn pumpkin orange eyes glazing the already fantastic beauty.
Ears perked slightly. The other one that was slightly close in markings to Kreuz, was ... Well, what ever his name was? His fur white white, with yellow spots and dapples here and there, with bright, yet dark emerald pools. Then, splashing of snow made it's way through the cracking silence. Ears perked fully, and twitched, swirling, and fluttered, swivling with content. Hm. Her scent showed no sign of agression, but silence and grace, that was truly loyal. She seemed a high rank. For now, she was silent. It was not her time to speak. How ever, al ranks were higher than her now, so she kept her tail slightly curved in respect.

Her multi-grey made the subordinate nearly invisible against the fallen snow. Nothing on her portrayed anything more or less than white and grey, even her eyes, which many after one look believed her to be blind, were ghostly white, her pupils transparent against her light orbs. Her silent steps only added to her 'ghostliness'.
The howl was undoubtfully picked up by the fae's ears as she strolled by. Turning her head slightly to listen an obvious male calling, Genevieve lifted her muzzle in its direction. Paws pressed deeply into the snow as she silently descended towards the small group of whitebacks. She was nearly in the middle of them before she actually opened her mouth to speak.
"I see most of us are doing well..."

To others, Teekon could only imagine he looked like a misfit. His colors weren't exactly those of a Whiteback, he was larger than most, and also, he had a kind demenor about him. But, Whitebacks weren't like the Chicotah... they actually had hearts.
Eyes like his brother watched those who were here, and glanced up into the distance occasionally to look for any late commers. They would come eventually, unless they had run away. In the meantime, he dipped his head down and took a bite out of the snow to dampen his throat. The half frozen stream was too far away, and he was too lazy. Snow worked just as good.
"While we're here, how have terms been with the Bloodbacks? I expected to come back and find everyone sitll bickering with them, but we seem nuetral. They don't bother us and we don't bother them... yet."

Kreuz saw the looks that were given to his brother, almost self-conciously. He feared that some of the older members might attack him, but they wouldn't attack Teekon when their head warrior was around - no, they couldn't. They knew they'd be punished.
As Inak walked in a small, although almost cold, smile came across his face. "Ah... So the ranks are still around." standing and lifting his tail in obvious disrespect of her position, he walked to her. "This pack has been lacking directions for far too long," a low growl escaped his throat, though not directed toward Inak. "Where is Feraz? His absence is throwing this pack to Hell." Without waiting for Gamma's response, he turned and plopped back down next to his brother. Scrunched nose and glaring eyes showed his annoyance with the pack. He looked at the wolves around him - the very few of them - and shook his head.
Turning to address Teekon's question, he spoke loudly to allow the rest of his pack to hear. "I don't know what the Bloodbacks are up to. They have most definately been slowly taking our territories, but they've been silent for a while. They might be training their armies for attack or defense - if anything happened, we would lose. Their smells are becoming strong, they're growing in numbers as we shrink. We need to get new members, and fast."

Teekon, Inak and Genevieve's entrance was sharply noted each time by Sugha's burning eyes, two dying embers of light within this snowy playground. Black auds switched too and fro amongst the cosy group and the smokey wolfess could feel the tensions rise as those of higher rank began to emerge. Inak had been long absent and Sugha could barely remember Feraz's face. Kreuz was right in the respects of the Whiteback's dwindling strength, but he was certainly not one for diplomatic tongues.
Although he spoke truth, this wolf chose to speak bluntly and harshly in order to get results that way. Often negative results which was probably why her rubbing Sugha up the wrong way so much. Teekon seemed a little wiser in that area, direct but well spoken and Sugha watched him as he spoke trying to analyse this wolf's aura. She shook her gaze from his new form as Kreuz began to pipe up again though.
"It is a delicate process to obtain more pack members. We can not simply sit and wait, but nor can we spread out and take in homeless wolves by force. Perhaps this needs a strategy," she spoke up without hesitation, not intimdated to share her opinion, "We need to spread word with a few members of our 'prosperous' and 'strong' pack... Of course, we will have to extend certain truths for others to flood to our lands." Sugha sat back, eyes flicking to each pack mate that sat in council within the snow.

ooc+ Look whos here.
Paws lightly wandered in the snow as he had heard a howl, Oh so his pack members decided to get a big old welcome party for him did they? He'd be sure to welcome them just as much back.
For a moment he took in the scents of others around him, new ones. That was a change, while eaves-dropping on some of the conversation he heard Alpha? He'd soon have to change that.
Stepping into the scene he looked at the little group, grin plastered onto his visage as he spoke up, "How's my favorite people doing?'
Feraz, was back.
