Truely, the world was cast in silence. The soft sound of velveteen paws could be heard as the great beast moved across the earth. The great savannah stretched out before his eyes as far as he could see. He pondered faintly wether any were here or not. He listened intently, the tip of his tail curling and twitching. The large leopard covered beast slowly sat, then flopped to the earth to lay in the long, lush grass. Despite his grey, black, and white pelt; he blended in pretty well. Sharp blue eyes surveyed everything. He didn't even hear the roar of an ironfang... Were their numbers really so low? He heaved a sigh before standing again.
He breathed in deeply, then exhaled it in a mightful and loud roar. It echoed across the plains. Why he probably wasn't as large as some of the other cats, he wasn't small either. His body was extremely thick for his size as well. He started moving again, heading towards what looked to him like a water source. He hoped it was, he was terribly thirsty. His throat felt like bald skin.
His movements were silent and soft, coat shimmered like silk on the breeze. His movements were liquid as he went along. Deciding that he would not be attacked - for he had announced his presence - he sprung into a all-out run. He finally came to a stop, panting lightly as he lay down. Apparently what he had seen wasn't a water source, but it didn't change his thirst. He opted for laying down and resting, his eyes ever watchful of his surroundings.
