Domesticated canine seemed to be going in circles - in all reality he was but that didn't stop him from trudging onwards. This circle happened to border the area of Youkol Dog Pack, a pack that took feral canines in as their own. Bandit didn't seem to know this as he continued onward, rump swaying this way and that as the journey continued. The poor soul had been born without a tail, due to humans wishing him to herd. Herd he had until the teenagers decided to have their fun and torment the poor dog day and night, wherever he went their blows haunted him. He could stand no more and escaped the living hell he was living, even though the family that had brought him up was of a decent sort. Now he wandered - rather bored without anything at all in the world to keep him the slightest bit of company.
Rump finally landed on the ground on the border of the territory he had circled for some time without even knowing it. Nostrils took in scents, searching for recent ones - finding only ones that had been placed days ago nothing fresher. "Oh well, at least I get to sit and think." Frontal legs sprawled out before him in a laying position, brain had indeed connecting laying as a danger but the arguments made by the body were far to convincing for Bandit. "What should I think about though?" The words were near silent, anyone who happened to come along would simply think he moved his mouth and not worked his vocal chords. As mind strained to think of something, paws kneaded the ground in boredom. Thoughts turned towards the family he had left behind, the warm meat that had always been prepared.
How in the name of hell was he to survive? He needed to find a pack and soon, to teach him all the things that living with humans had deprived him of. Bandit was born to herd domesticated livestock, not hunt wild things that others did so often. A sigh drifted from his vocals, trying to push such thoughts out of his mind with little success. "Oh where, oh where has my little dog gone?" The familiar song to all human children was spoken not sung, the day that Bandit carried a tune was the day that the stars fell from the sky and earth plunged into a deep black of darkness. "Oh where. Oh were. Can he be?" Deciding to stop on that note, soft brown gaze took a look around and continued to find nothing other than landscape. Sure - it was beautiful, but beautiful was only entertaining for so long.

Corprit was out, brown paws seeming not to make a sound on the ground as he moved. Well, to the untrained ear. But to other dogs who were used for tracking it would be a sinch to pick up his pawsteps. Mismatched eyes stayed focused ahead while ears took up the sides and nose to the rear since the wind was blowing behind him. It would give his scent to those in front, but bring the scent of those behind him to him. Somewhat a Win Lose situation. The golden colored male dog mix halted as a sound reached his ears. It was like Spunkmeyer's singing only a lot better in his opinion. Head lowered and tail curled slightly as he moved forward towards the sound.
Muscles tightened and ears flicked back. The new dog was now in sight, sitting on the border of their lands. Raven had accepted him in but still the rituals of the pack had yet to be handed to him. He didn't speak as he revealed himself to the other male dog, eyeing him as he watched. Rump planted itself on the ground and the clam expression stayed on his face.

Muscles re-coiled themselves, bring the beast up to face the other canine. Not a wolf - no his build was far to messed up by human intervention, so there were other dogs in this land. Invisible brow shot up as the other simply stared at him, not saying a word, "Hello?" He asked curiously, "Is something the matter?" A quick sweep of himself found nothing out of the usual, just plain old Bandit. Not even scars were visible, so why did this canine stare so? It was really starting to bother the poor beast. Weight was shifted from left to right, awaiting the response and hopefully the end of the staring. The stump of a tail the humans had left him with twitched slightly, making it seem as if his whole rump had twitched. "Please ... can you stop staring at me? It's really un-nerving."
Perhaps if Bandit had been thinking, he would have realized this could be a test. But body never listened to his own mind, only the words of others. Perhaps this is why he could be so easily taken advantage of if the wrong canine came along - but that was incredibly doubtful to happen. Wasn't it? Skull shook gently dislodging the thoughts from his mind. There was no time to think at a time like this. That thought made the invisible brow raise higher - no wonder he never listened when it spoke to him. It never made any damn sense!

Shoulders shrugged and the male turned his head to the side, eyes going to the sky above and staring at the few clouds that dotted it. He didn't really care if this new dog wanted him there or not. This was somewhat his land after all. Well, RavenHolm's really but he lifed here so it was partly his land as well. If anyone should leave or look away it should be this dog here. Yet he still complied. Why? Corprit asked himself that over and over in his mind.
Tail curled outward to lay across the ground, tip flicking now and then. "Name?" he asked, wanting to use as few words as possible. It wasn't like the tri colored wolf to speak to anyone unless asked a question and they needed a reply but new things happen in new places. He was having enough trouble as it was staying in one place. Thus he took to loong walks around the territory. Eyes went back to the other dog as an ear flicked as a fly landed on it. Paws gripped the ground then released it as a pink tongue wet the nose and lips of his jaws.

Invisible twitches ran up and down his spine - this dog was far to much like what he remembered of his father for his liking. Sure, they had parted when Bandit was but a youngster but the canine was always cold and distant. If the rest of this pack was like this canine, he'd turn tail and risk his life in the wolf packs. No way in hell could he stand that cold feeling of superiority around him, it sickened him. "It's polite to give your own name, before asking of someone else's." Came his response Cooley, probably he would have given his name if this canine had asked in a more polite way. But that was Bandit never one to think his words through, mind gave a command and traitor of a mouth opened before that mind could even think of what the hell it was doing.
Judging by the posture even Bandit could tell this canine was no high ranking official, not even mid ranking. At the human camps the mid ranking held their posture and confidence far higher than this. Gaze had lost it's friendly look, remembering all to well the teenage males who had put him through hell and back simply because they couldn't entertain themselves properly. Attention returned to the dog that sat before him, with the return of attention came the return of annoyance.

Another shrug and a sigh escaped his jaws. Just what he didn't want to do. Give him name to someone who hadn't given him their name first. Was this wolf trying to get him to lose it? Forelegs stretched forward, back arching inwards slightly in the process. "Corprit." Eyes stayed on the other dog now. He wanted his name. Then he would know how to adress this dog later on in life if he should so happen join the pack of dogs. Spunk would love the thought of another dog and Raven might as well. Truthfully though he couldn't really care. Corprit was really always alone anyway. No friends or family.
Legs lifted his body upwards, calm expression now lost as it was replaced with one of small ammount of annoyance. Nothing really got under his fur. Normally just insults but this dog was a tad on the annoying side in his mind. Just sitting there doing nothing. If he wanted something why didn't he spit it out already? The male shook his head and put the normal calm face back on.

The look of annoyance caught Bandit's gaze, but he really couldn't care less. The dog could hate him all he wanted, it didn't matter. From the looks of it this pack didn't seem to fit what he wanted, mind was almost made up to leave the area soon enough and go looking for a wolf pack. Sure it'd be harder to join, but atleast the wolves weren't ice cold saying few words at all. "Bandit." Came his reply, as cool and even as the words he had spoken before. Maybe this was just one member - the hopeful part of his rarely used mind spoke up. Maybe the rest of the pack is the nicest thing on the planet, you just had the misfortune of meeting the rude one of the bunch. Every pack has 'em, you can't get around that. He bobbed his head, agreeing with the voice before a darker one could plant seeds of doubt.
Gaze drifted over the other canine, before locking his gaze with him. Honestly he had done nothing to be annoyed with, Bandit had simply placed himself down to rest. And now he had an ice queen at his throat, trying to convey some silent message that really would get across better if he just spoke it. But no, some just didn't have the compacity to do that. A shame too - as most of those could be the friendliest dogs in the world if they just got over that mentality that they were better than everyone else. If Bandit had been thinking clearly he'd have realized these were all assumptions and guesses made, not enough conversation had gone on that either of them actually knew the other.

Corprit turned his head away. He was uncomfortable around others. He had done enough to others in his past. Another sigh escaped his jaws. Raven would most likely want to meet this dog incase he wanted to join. Not like there was much elsewhere to go around here. "Ravenholm is around somewhere if you want to meet him." He was scaring himself now. A ten word sentance and not once did he yell or growl at the dog or wolf he was speaking to. It was like some silent miracle. Tail flicked nervously as he turned towards the lands of the pack of dogs. Weather or not this Bandit followed didn't matter to him.
Brown paws halted as he cast a glance over his shoulder to see if the other dog had followed. If so he would take him towards where Ravenholm was assumed to be. If not, well he would continue with his walk and leave him to go back home or to the wolves. Wasn't his fault he wasn't very conversational.

Look of utter and complete confusion washed over the dog's face, what in the name of hell was going on here? First he acts like I'm scum, he thought, Now he's taking me to Ravenholm ... whoever that is. If evolution had given canines arms, Bandit would be scratching his head right now. There was something very odd about this all, oh well. He'd meet this Ravenholm and see what he was about. Probably the Alpha or someone of high ranking he realized, as rump lifted from the cold ground to follow Corprit, there was no harm in it. The cold little voice that whispered 'Unless he's leading you to your death,' was ignored in the most cheery way possible. Nope, he was going to live long and prosper or damn well fool his mind into thinking that for him.
The journey caused Bandit to be silent, there was really no need for speech. No doubt the one dubbed Corprit would simply ignore him and find him more a fool than he already was, oh well that didn't matter. He'd have plenty of time to win back his trust if this Ravenholm wasn't as quiet and cold as this one was. If he was, well, the dog would probably turn tail and run the other way as fast as possible.

'Wonder where the ruddy brother of mine has gotten?' Came strange thoughts, why they'd even entered attractive skull was beyond him. He hadn't seen beloved kin in over a year, at least, and couldn't say he'd be seeing them any time soon. Not that he wouldn't mind running into him somewhere, though the likelihood of it would be doubtful. And why shouldn't it be? With all the miles that this earth was composed of, let alone the villages he could have chosen to be settled in, why in heaven's name should he run into this place? Though technically, it wasn't a village at all. In fact, Tucker highly doubted a human had ever wandered into here at all. With a grunt, said male trudged father into the territory, regardless of who claimed it. He'd take them on any day, the bloody cowards. Then again, they may not be cowards. They could be cannibals, or worse. Just as he was a blooming guzzle gut.
Mind zoning out, as usual, finely built lord allowed brilliant, if not eccentric mind to wander over himself. How he'd managed to avoid canine company during the greater part of his two- almost three years- was beyond him. He couldn't say he was ugly, for in fact, he could be considered quite the looker. Though his build was sturdy, he had a lengthy enough torso and limbs to be considered the running sort. Indeed, he was good at sprinting. Why, those charming legs of his had allowed him to scuttle out of the most sticky situations, like that one time with the cougar, who hadn't at all been pleased when...With a start, Tucker brought his mind cheerfully back to himself. As for the rest of his body, each section had it's own lovely features. A coat that was a black as the night shone with good health and care, and gorgeous milky brown pools had no gunk surrounding them. Why, that would be simply unthinkable. Why kind of dog didn't take care of themselves?
Finally, high ego-ed male turned his straying mind back the the present- and just in time too. Voices drifted lazily through the air, one ringing with a familiar lilt. Now- who had a voice like that? Right now, he couldn't seem to place it. The other seemed to be more brutal, harsh even, but it didn't put Tucker off. He couldn't care less if there were unfriendly counterparts about. Thinking he might very well see who he was up against, said brute put on a burst of speed. Not moments passed, soon two figures had emerged into sight. With a jolt of surprise, as well as the lifting of one tawny brow, Tucker's friendly voice called, "Oi Bander, long time no see!" Bander- Bandit rather- was the brother he hadn't seen in quite some time. No regards were given to the other male just a short distance away, as goofy titan placed all attention on brother dearest.

Ooc:// Sorry it took so long. You are welcome to join us Zoar.
Humming, a multi-colored male strolled through his territory. A beautiful place it was. Black and yellow paws touched the ground silently, only to be picked up again and placed in front of their former position. Grey ears swiveled as the noise of others were picked up. There were three of them. One belonged to Corprit, the other male he had recently recruited. But the other voices remained unknown. Nose uplifted, he caught the scent and it told him the same story. Well, it’d be best to see what the others are up to. Hopefully, no fights would start up. Still humming the tune of Spunkmeyer’s song he pushed through the trees to where his nose and ears led. His tail swung lightly has he made his way through the trees. Branches scraped at his fur, but its thickness protected the skin underneath.
The gentle humming slowly faded as the others came into sight. He already knew Corprit, the gold pelted mutt. The other too looked to be purebred, both of the same strain. They also seemed related, as he could tell from the scents. Both seemed to know each other by the way the second one to arrive greeted the other. RavenHolm’s paws carried him forth as he approached the trio of dogs. A bow of his head went to the known dog as he greeted with a simple, “Corprit.” After, Raven turned towards the unknown pair as he examined them. Neither appeared threatening to the Akita and Husky mix. ”I am RavenHolm, Alpha of the Youkol Dog Packlands and I see you have already met Corprit.” His head was nodded in the direction of the other dog. “May I inquire as to your reason for stepping upon my lands?” he asked simply in a polite tone. Hopefully, neither of the dogs would take offence in the way he chose to word his question.

He nodded his head slightly to Ravenholm. Corprit shived himself so he was facing the other dogs. The new one didn't bother him, not much did. It was their choice of weather or not to stay here. Jaws parted to a yawn as ears moved back then forward. His leader's little intoduction of him and himself was short and gave all the information they would need. And he was curious as to why they were there as well. Rump seated itself on the ground next to Raven. Mixmatched eyes went to the new dog as he came over to Bandit. This was the dog he didn't know or had talked to. Like he would have gotten a responce from the golden male even if this dog directed his speach towards him. Raven and him could most likely easily take them if they should attack but somehow, Corprit didn't think they would need too.
