Brown and black tipped ears rotated over the mixed canine's head and blue eyes gazing around, taking notes of where everything was in this place. It wasn't much different from the forest she was born and raised in, which gave her a sense of familiarity with it. Normally she wouldn't venture so far from her homelands, but this day was special. She was moving on.
The fae moved at a brisk trot, nearing a run, the one defining mark on her seemed to flutter in the wind, her white feather-like marking on her grey pelt. A black line ran through it, making it appear even more like a feather, and from afar, it truly looked like one.
Noticing the scent of dogs in the air, she slowed to a stop and lifted her head high. A long, eerie call grew in the territory, letting her presence be known.

RavenHolm, the increasingly weary Alpha of Youkol, heard the call of an unknown canine. The dog mix had been hoping for some sleep, but it had evaded him, not only today, but for the past few days. Not only that, but every time he managed to drift off, he was awaken by the nightmares of his past and what the future might hold. Frowning, he turned towards the sound, not exactly happy about having to leave the comfort of this den. His eyes, now dull from his lack of rest, wandered about the land as he tried to pinpoint the location of the one that called. Grumbling as he went, Raven headed off in the direction in which he believed the other individual was.
Up ahead he spotted her. His dark tail twitched every few moments in an agitated manner. The restless came to stand before the female, seeming all but excited. “You are upon Youkol lands. State your name and the reason for your intrusion.” His voice was a bit for commanding than he would have liked it, but he wasn’t in the mood now. Raven found himself shifting from one paw to another, impatient and unhappy. Still, his tail twitched in an unnerving manner as he examined her.

The grey female looked up at the larger brute, a bit taken back by the tone in his voice. Maybe she should have stayed in her homeland... at least there she wasn't pressured to speak. Nevertheless he looked healthy for a dog mix. Nothing like her looked at all neat... well that was what came from being a timber and dog hybrid. Ah the sweet memories of home was creeping back on her, when she helped rear little pups with the mothers, as she was often called upon for such duties...
"Good evening..." She gave the male a graceful bow, her feather marking floated on her pelt as she did, "My name is Angelis. I've come looking for the pack that resides here in hopes of maybe being accepted."

RavenHolm noticed her reaction to him. God damnit, he was doing it again. Stress and fatigue had begun wearing away at him and his usual happy behavior. The dog mix dropped his head almost in an apologetic manner, but then raised his head to speak. “Please, don’t bow,” he said to her in a rather flat tone. This was something he had to tell usually half of the pack; it was rather annoying to tell most of them the same thing everyday. Old habits die hard, I guess, was what he though to himself. Well, he best get back to Angelis instead of letting his mind wander about. He forced himself to sit, hoping that he would less fidgety, but soon found himself pack on his paws.
“Good evening to you too, Angelis.” He began to say with a little more emotion in his voice. “I am RavenHolm, Alpha of the Youkol Dog Pack. You seem to be one of the many dogs that have sought sanctuary in the territory. So, tell me, Angelis, what is it that you have to offer Youkol?”

What she had to offer?she never really thought about that... well what did she do in her last pack? ... babysit pups... and... well that was it. On occassion she would go with the hunters and they had taught her some tricks of their trade, which given her some insight on hunter duties and how to catch prey. But it wasn't like she could take down a deer all by herself like the others, mostly just small game like birds, fish, and rabbits. Pupsitter was all she was really good at.
"I offer my skills as a pupsitter... and little much I know on hunting. Unfortunately I had not been taugh much in other ranks. I had always done well with young... Alpha."
