((Please, Badasses only. Red= Tala Blue= Kai))
The Chicotah wolf had been wondering since the four of them had joined. What if they weren't the badass group they once were anymore. Sure, Tala tagged along with him 24/7 and annoyed the hell out of him. But maybe Phantom and the little red wolf, what was his name, Bloodroot thought differently. He wanted to know, he needed to know if they were still who they once were. Bloodroot more in likely would stick with whoever game him more protection by the looks and souds of what he said during the recruitment. He knew Tala would stay with him. The red wolf always did.
Currently sitting near the edge of the territory with his back to the lands known as Metztli Clan. Tail was curled next to his body and eyes focused on others things than the territory around him and the possible dangers. Tala lay next to him chewing on a bone from a previous days hunting. He could hear the gnawing of the material grinding against the red wolf's back molars. It was getting on the nerves, the sound. He couldn't even hear his thoughts. "Tala," once the wolf had stopped and looked at him Kai added, "SHUT THE HELL UP!" Tala flinched at the pure venom in Kai's voice, dropping the bone and slinking back a few steps.
Tail thumped against the ground in annoyance as lips drew back to expose fangs. "Are we still the badasses?" Tala asked suddenly, looking at the one he had grown to now as a leader. Kai always knew what was happening. He knew everything.
"I don't know, Tala. But I am going to find out." Maw lifted to the sky and a long high pitched howl emmited from it, calling those two left in the ranks who weren't already with him. It was a calling for a meeting. He needed to kknow if they were still who they once called themselves.

Thoughts of the world danced across her pretty little skull while Kai and Tala spoke of things that would never change. Thoughts of the future really is a more accurate term for what Phantom formulated in her mind. This Kross female would eventually find herself in a fight, but how far would both damsels take it? To the death? And why bother? The ivory bitch was nothing more then her title, a bitch who didn't know her personalty if it came up behind her and bit her in the ass. Oh well, if she deserved to die her blood would be spilt. If she didn't ... then Phantom would quite possibly drive herself mad thinking of ways to bring her down. That was when a low and eerie note drifted over the skies and filled her skull. "It better be good." She muttered to herself, not liking her private time being disturbed by something stupid that the two could figure out by themselves.
Trotting across unfamiliar lands that she would gain knowledge of soon enough, the two canines she had become familiar with entered her view. "You rang?" She spoke in a drawl, as an invisible eyebrow arched itself. Rump planted itself before the two males, awaiting an explanation for why she was now stuck with them once again. Not that she really minded all that much - what she minded were the things that came out of Tala's mouth at times. Or worse, the Brat's mouth.

((lol. No prob. I loved the ending part))
Ears perked on both wolves at the sound of approching pawsteps. Tala was really the only one who turned to look, tail wagging at the familiar sight that was Phantom. Smile on his maw the red male stood and bounded over to her, stopping a few feet away so as not to tick her off as well as Kai. The Chicotan on the other hand...er paw Stood and turned himself to face the two other wolves, replacing his rump back down on the earth. Eyes scanned from Tala to the only female of the group. Ears perked themselves up as he thoght carefully about what he was going to say.
"I know we may have joined this pack, but Tala, surprisingly, has brought up an interesting argument." Kai spoke, closing his eyes for a moment. Tala puffed his chest out importantly, as if he had just won the Nobel Peace Prize for Wonderful Ideas to Help the Community. Kai ignored his behavior, continueing with his little speach. "He asked if we were still the Badasses we were before joining. That is exactly what I would like to know as well. What do you think?" His gaze locked onto Phantom.
Tala followed his friend's eyes to the female. He would always think of them as the Badasses if no one else did. It was who they were and nothing would change that in the red wolf's eyes. He just hoped the others saw it the same way he did. For once. In his life instead of always making fun of him.

Swishing her tail in an idle motion - only those who knew her well could tell it was the movement she made when thinking - she gazed at the face at Tala first, then rested on Kai. They'd been together for so long it would be strange to split apart at the first sign of a pack. Besides - Kai seemed a better leader then this Disclaim (She never would fully respect him after he had accepted the siren Kross into his pack). And why bother splitting up a good group? None had been killed in their travels, though many attempts had been made. That obviously had to count for something. Yes - they would always be the nameless group that had often been referred to as the Badasses. We really need a damned name for this group. That sounds so lame. All these thoughts came in an instant, not leaving them in wait for very long.
Invisible brow raised as she was brought out of her thoughts, and Tala had puffed his chest out proudly. It lowered, leaving the tiniest bit of a smirk upon her face. Tala would never grow out of whatever phase life had stuck him in. Whether a blessing or a curse, she would never know. "Of course." Came her voice finally. Her tone was not enthusiastic - in fact it was as if she had simply commented that the sky was blue, the grass was green, and she was a female. "It seems Tala had finally made an intelligent though, you should be happy for yourself." She spoke in the same tone of voice, her gaze remaining locked on Kai.

Kai nodded to her answer, smirking slightly at the small joke at Tala's expence. So, that was one wolf out of the two he needed answers from, but of course, no onw was going to take Bloodroot's answer seriously. He doubted any one of the three there at that moment would even care if he left and never came back. The pup wasn't much of a badass anyway.
The red wolf's eyes went wide though at Phantom's answer, tail wagging and large drunken like grin plastered on his maw. Tala bounded around a little whispering "Yes!", "Alright!" and many other words to that effect. He stopped inbetween the female wolf and Kai, head flinging back and fourth at them as if he was directing them towards a party to celebrate.
Kai rolled his eyes at th crimson wolf's anticts. "Well, now we just need to know what happened to Bloodroot. Not like anyone truely cares." Shoulderes went up in a canine shrug, head tilting away from the group slightly.

Invisible brow sky-rocketed as Tala began his partying, it continued to amaze her how Kai put up with him. For he had a lower tolerance for this sort of thing, then she herself! Miracles happen every day she supposed, it was still rather odd. Olive dusted tail thumped once and he was lucky even to get that, the look she gave him next quite clearly said 'There. I partied.' Though her mouth did not open once. A rare occasion for Phantom to speak anything other then to her little group, unless it cynical and scathing. A slight snort was given at talk of Bloodroot, "Little brat probably got himself killed." Amusement crossed her face at the prospect of this, oh a hundred and ten ways danced across her skull how he could have finally been layed to rest. More likely then not that Alpha had kicked his sorry little ass all the way home. A shame too, that he'd have done it without her there to watch.
Well ... you can't have everything!
